2024-07-05 17:19:29 +0000 UTCTop 5 horror/thriller movies I'd love to to see you react to: 1. Insidious 2. Cabin in the woods 3. Texas chainsaw massacre (2003 remake) 4. I am Legend (this is probably just a great film as opposed to a horror movie but definitely has some jump scares) 5. Get out (not a horror movie either but depends on who you ask because it definitely has some scary elements LOL) I'll admit most people probably wouldn't classify the last two movies I named as official horror movies but they are still two amazing movies that I would love to see your reaction for. Plus they definitely still have some "jump scares" in the mix just not as much horror as the first three movies I listed.

There is soooo very much behind the scenes , and factoids about it , that I will not make a long ass comment. Many great making of's , etc. are out there to watch and learn cool facts. As for sequels , remake's etc , I enjoy all but part 4 , 2017 , and 2022. Yo have ticked another Reactor Bingo Card slot with this one Sir. And I thank you for sharing this with us. Peace

The 2nd horror film I have seen over 100 times.(1st was NOTLD '68) Great and interesting comments from folks on this one as well. As usual , Sparkin up ,cold beer , and a whole buncha excitement! BTW , Franklin is my all time winner for Most Annoying Character EVER!!! I always rewatch his uh , deletion 2 or 3 times after it happens. Just makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Ok.....It's BBQ time!!

2024-06-17 06:23:34 +0000 UTCSo there is a part 2 that came out in 86, part 3 in 90 and part 4 in 1995 . You can watch those if you want. Each one is a bit different. 2003's "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is where it gets really good. Then you have "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre the Beginning" in 2006, "Texas Chainsaw" 3D in 2013, "Leatherface" in 2017 and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" 2022. My recommendation is to skip to the 2003 movie and do the rest from there. You will like those a lot more.

That is why some things are wonky but I think this is a masterpiece considering what they had to work with. This movie also influenced so many other horror movies that would come after it.

This closely relates to the “final girl” phenomenon that was mentioned previously. Often, if the woman is shown to be promiscuous, she’s for sure going to die… and probably with her chichis out. The more “innocent” a woman is the more likelihood she has to be the “final girl” and the less likely you are to see her tatas fully exposed.
