2024-06-14 00:00:22 +0000 UTCI disagree that Jimmy would have played it by the book if he got the job. The events of season 2 prove this. He can’t help himself. He thinks the ends justify the means. He doesn’t take the shortcuts in season 2 because of Chuck. He does them because he will do whatever it takes to win.

2024-06-07 08:18:02 +0000 UTCThat was all AFTER Chuck didn't allow him to work for HHM and didn't help him find work at all. Had Chuck taken him under his wing and helped him things could have been different. And he didn't even have the balls to tell him himself. He let Howard be the scapegoat. Absolute coward move.

2024-06-07 05:47:32 +0000 UTCThough I’ve seen BB many times, this is only the second time I’ve seen BCS. I love that I am understanding things that i didn’t before, or that I just missed, and gaining different insight while watching with you. Much love to you, sir ✌🏼as always DJMoore

2024-06-06 20:13:48 +0000 UTCJimmy committed crimes and/or shady behavior as a lawyer prior to Chuck telling him this. He conspired to do a scam on the Kettlemans to get their business, he took their bribe money, and then used that money to do his publicity stunt. Jimmy was always going to take short cuts with or without Chuck. It’s just that Chuck might have made it worse.

2024-06-06 09:13:54 +0000 UTCVery good movie. Julia Robert's is great in that one.

2024-06-06 05:21:32 +0000 UTC100%. Come on HOTD, compete lol.

2024-06-06 05:20:58 +0000 UTCYea but this directly impacts that result. Yea he was a scumbag when he was younger but he had been trending in the right direction for a long time. If Chuck took him under is wing and showed him the way things could have been different. He should have just told him the steps he needed to do in order to someday work at HHM but instead of doing that he took the cowards way out.

2024-06-06 05:19:33 +0000 UTCPreach lol. I can't stand the Chuck D riders lol. Like come on man. That guy might be a beast lawyer and may strictly obey the law but he isn't a very good person at all. And a coward.

2024-06-06 05:12:45 +0000 UTCYea bro these 2 episodes 👀. Jimmy and Chuck at the end there is one of my favorite moments between either show. Amazing acting. As a sibling of 2 brothers I couldn't imagine doing this to them unless they deleted or graped someone. Apparently blood doesn't run as thick for some. When I hear the way you speak about your mom sometimes it really hits me. My mom isn't a very good person, has mental issues and has done some bad stuff in her life. Nonetheless that's my mom. Just like that's my brother or my dad. It would have been one thing if Chuck was up front with him from the start. There are many ways to talk to someone and letting them know how you feel without being an jerk. Instead of doing that Chuck took the cowards way out. The reason Howard pulled Kim into the office was to tell her it's Chuck, not him. That's why she told Jimmy to take the deal. She knew if Jimmy found out it would break his heart.

2024-06-06 02:08:32 +0000 UTCI had read somewhere that Clarence ("Man Mountain") running away was supposed to be a nod to GTA NPCs when things get scary.

2024-06-05 23:26:34 +0000 UTCNa you are misreading her. She would never do that to Jimmy. She really doesn't want him to get hurt. Chuck is even worse than you think. Think about it. He didn't just say you aren't good enough for HHM. You aren't good enough to practice law anywhere for anyone. This is after Jimmy has taken care of Chuck. After Jimmy refused to stick Chuck in a mental institution which most people would have done. Chuck created someone far worse than Jimmy ever would have become if he had simply mentored Jimmy's career. Chuck caused Saul. This show has so much more depth with ALL of the characters than BBad. I thought it was dumb to spinoff Saul. I was so wrong. I like this show exponentially more than BBad because of the depth and development of the characters. I thought Odenkirk was a one trick pony always playing the same character. He proved me wrong with Saul. Then he smashed my beliefs to bits with Nobody.

2024-06-05 14:05:31 +0000 UTCYup to Trevor. lol. I ad to look up Trevor. It is a bit shocking that simply searching Trevor actually yielded results. I assumed he was a Walking Dead character because you tend to notice people from Walking Dead. Which is funny because the actor was in Walking Dead but not as Trevor. You should have said is that Simon.

2024-06-05 13:46:03 +0000 UTCBCS Season 1 episode 9 is the episode where this show is truly born. Before this episode, every episode was viewed as simply as Breaking Bad Spinoff. Then Chuck's character was finally, completely defined, as he rants to Jimmy about not being a real lawyer. (An Iconic monologue). That's when the show grew its identity, its own legs. No longer in the shadow of Breaking Bad, but an iconic and noteworthy show of its own

2024-06-05 13:31:49 +0000 UTCThat was dirty to tell him no right in the middle of his celebration party. Right there, that scene branched off Saul. Not even letting the guy have his moment. I don't fault Howard in any way for telling Jimmy no. Just the timing. No upper echelon firm is going to take a correspondence student who took 3 stabs at the Bar.

2024-06-05 05:24:05 +0000 UTCI don't think Vince Gilligan himself had worked out all of Mike's back story while Breaking Bad was still running. I mean, when they started BB, Jesse was supposed to be killed off at the end of the first season, but he was working out so they kept him in.

2024-06-05 05:02:07 +0000 UTCYeah, Trevor Phillips cameo😃 Though if it actually was that character, he would have killed everyone in a two block radius😂

2024-06-05 04:54:53 +0000 UTCFans debate about Chuck a lot. He's a terrible brother, but he's not wrong about Jimmy and we know what he becomes in Breaking Bad.

2024-06-05 04:48:40 +0000 UTCSlippin' Jimmy buys a Matlock suit to prey on old folks who love and trust Matlock... then he stumbles upon a huge Class Action Lawsuit... It's All Good, Man!
Scott Asher
2024-06-05 04:47:15 +0000 UTCYes, that was Steven Ogg (Trevor) in the scene with Mike. The big guy next to him had a small role in El Camino as the driver/bodyguard for the escorts that went to the shop where the shootout with Jesse took place.

2024-06-05 04:21:30 +0000 UTCYou probably need to watch Erin Brockovich. Culturally significant -decent movie. And your head bounced around a little during parts of the review tonight. Reminded me of Max Headroom. I know you are too young to know who that is.. but if you know you know.
