My mom died when I was 8. This scene hits hard every time. You never get over it. You learn to live with it.

2024-08-31 17:21:28 +0000 UTCon a rewatch man Guardians of the Galaxy ripped of Star Trek and did not even try to hide it. The Nova Core fleet is almost identical to Star Treks Tholian ships ...I guess you could explain the design since Star Trek is in the same universe as Star Trek that the Nova Core is aligned with the Tolians sort of like the treaty between the Klingons and the Romulans

2024-08-18 22:03:34 +0000 UTCGroot / Chewbacca. Same language. Rocket/Han Solo...probably the same being....errr somehow.

2024-05-02 06:26:25 +0000 UTCI'll cosign. DC is trash. Though now that James Gunn is heading up DC studios...

2024-05-02 03:16:48 +0000 UTCThis was an absolute blast. Just a great movie in every way. These are my favorite series of movies in the MCU outside Avenger movies. I love all these characters. Though Ronan was super powerful you can see how insanely powerful a single infinity stone is. Gamora is imo one of the hottest female marvel characters there is. Can't wait for the next one.

2024-04-30 01:21:50 +0000 UTCDude, you value of famlly is all over the place. In BB you couldn't imagine why Marie would have an expectation to Skylar , her sister, about the what was going on in their life and the issues that Skylar and Walt were having. Made a point of how you have brothers you don't really have a relation with and if he came to you with a family issue you would have no reason to share or speak. But the by the end of BB you were kinda down on Flynn for taking his mothers side during the fight and calling the cops on his dad. And then tonight you made a comment about how could Nebula do that to her sister, I'm trying to find your logic in this reasoning.

2024-04-29 03:13:56 +0000 UTCSome do have powers beyond bionic enhancement, but you’re right that it’s much more rare than in the rest of the MCU. Groot can regenerate body parts and grow new plants on him very quickly, which is how he made the flower for the little girl and made that super thick end of his branch to form a shield in the prison fight. And Drax has strength. Could be Hulk level, could be limited to car throwing. Depends on the version and author. The MCU version seems well past cat throwing strength. I think that’s about it as far as actual powers though

2024-04-28 19:36:50 +0000 UTCIs easy is the opposite. DC doesn't compare to Marvel. There's a reason they've actually been able to build a consistent and cohesive cinematic univers unlike DC

2024-04-28 10:14:54 +0000 UTCThis is not superhero related at all... but I highly recommend the movie "Collateral". Not a whole lot of reactions to this out there but it really is a phenomenal film starring Jamie Foxx & Tom Cruise.

2024-04-28 00:54:10 +0000 UTCThe collector said that people were temporarily able to share the power of the stone but it killed them quickly after that's why they were able to hold it as long as they did.

2024-04-27 23:43:43 +0000 UTCI'm convinced this movie was made to make the biggest idiot feel like even they have a chance to be a hero.

2024-04-27 21:02:28 +0000 UTCThe collector does not have the Tesseract(the blue Infinity stone) he was given the Ether(the red Infinity stone)by the Asgardians. Volstagg one of Thor's friends said "it's not wise too keep two Infinity stones in on place". The Tesseract is still on Asgard🤓

2024-04-27 20:12:57 +0000 UTCA major flaw in many villains, is that they very much enjoy hearing themselves speak😂

2024-04-27 19:47:40 +0000 UTCYeah I noticed that when you watched the book of eli and didn't know what type of movie it was lol. I will definitely stop watching trailers as well so I can also be surprised by the movies

2024-04-27 19:38:09 +0000 UTCYou should watch the DC movies after you finish Marvel. I like the marvel movies but they don't compare to DC. I know you started on them with the Watchmen but I don't think you watched anymore.

2024-04-27 19:36:24 +0000 UTCI always thought Ronan's ship looked strange as well. Despite that this is one of my favourites😁

2024-04-27 19:27:45 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly, Groot is speaking in full sentences. It's just his language is so complex that our underdeveloped ears can't comprehend what he's saying so all WE hear is, "I am Groot", but someone like Rocket can understand him.

2024-04-27 17:42:29 +0000 UTC1:55:06 That's what I loved about Ozymandias in The Watchmen... he pointed this about villain speeches and soon revealed, that the plan was already executed with expected impact.

2024-04-27 16:18:10 +0000 UTCI love that Thanos is in this one.. we first saw him in the end credit scene of the first Avengers movie.

2024-04-27 14:43:30 +0000 UTCDefinitely James Gunn’s vision brought a whole new direction to Marvel Movies. Let’s hope he can do something similar with DC now

2024-04-27 14:42:59 +0000 UTCI'm so happy we have reached this point in the MCU. The quality is stepped up even more from here on out. The next two MCU movies are good but then it's like 7 amazing movies in a row after that & they are all elite.

2024-04-27 14:38:46 +0000 UTCI gotta stop watching trailers. The movie was actually pretty good I really liked it. I'm done watching trailers judging movies based off of the trailer.

2024-04-27 13:00:12 +0000 UTCFor something light-hearted, check out the movie called The Nice Guys (Ryan Gosling ad Russell Crowe). It is hilarious and criminally underrated. Some more to add to the suggestion pile: The Gentlemen (the movie, not the show) and Bullet Train.

2024-04-27 12:24:20 +0000 UTCThe Guardians Movies are in a league of their own, Volume 2’s my favorite MCU movie. I enjoy how they’re not superheroes like you said, just space outlaws and warriors.

2024-04-27 09:53:29 +0000 UTCBTW , PLEASE watch The Incredibles 1 &2 just for superhero fun. (And don't forget to watch Jack Jack Attack short after Pt 1 )

2024-04-27 08:40:44 +0000 UTCI was 98% sure you would enjoy this one , and I am so very happy you did Sir. It is a blast to revisit the MCU in it's prime. BUT , I have 1 very important question..(Sorry if it has been asked) When will you be watching Deadpool & Deadpool 2 ? I know they are not "officially" part of the MCU but Deadpool & Wolverine will be. Just curious. (Not sure if you know anything about The X-Men)

2024-04-27 08:37:53 +0000 UTCthis was awesome! can't wait for the next one, whichever it is. also, i know you've seen the walking dead. Yondu's actor is also Daryll's brother from that show.

2024-04-27 06:13:06 +0000 UTCYes! One of my favorite MCU films. I remember going to the theater not knowing what to expect and leaving wanting more. The sequels are great and they fill in some blanks. The next two films are decent at best and officially end Phase 2, then you get probably the best run of films during Phase 3.

2024-04-27 05:56:52 +0000 UTC"Why?" Why? Remember, very start of the movie, little Peter Quill was getting a scolding from his dying mother for getting into a fight because he was outraged by someone being cruel to a frog. He's just that kinda guy.

2024-04-27 04:36:13 +0000 UTC1) Ronan is powerful, but he's still one guy... with one warship. 2) The Nova Corps is a Corps. It is a military/police Oragnizations. Lotta guys, lotta warships. A thing that'll come up more in the MCU, porting-over from the comic books, is that there are different scales and levels of super-heroing and such. Starting at 'Street-Level' and topping out at 'Cosmic' ... which brings us to... 3) Thanos, is Cosmic Level.

2024-04-27 04:00:11 +0000 UTCA statement condemning the actions of an 'alleged' rogue faction isn't an apology, it is not an empty gesture, it's diplomacy speak for, "Yeah, there is no 'alleged' here, he's rogue and we're not getting involved so you can freely take him out." The Kree not disavowing Ronan is kinda like signing a 'Letter of Marque', letting themselves have someone beat-up on their inter-planetary rivals with just enough legalistic separation to make it difficult to justify retribution against Them specifically. Or as another of my favorite Youtubers describe it, "It's Diplomacy, the big Inter-(galactic) poker game where everybody's cheating."
