2024-04-27 04:46:15 +0000 UTCOH man, I'm super late to the party on this one but some fun facts... The guy playing Batrock at the beginning of the movie is George St Pierre. He's an MMA legend and UFC Hall of Famer, that fact drastically impacted the coordination and fighting styles used in the opening sequence. As a fight fan, I LOVED it. Fun tidbit is, the scene where Steve adds Troubleman soundtrack to his book was edited for the release in different areas of the globe to make sure the audiences in various parts of the globe could relate to the things Steve wanted to catch up on. Eventually we get a Black Widow movie, but it should have happened much sooner.

2024-04-23 20:26:21 +0000 UTCThor is great, but Cap is the best. He's not as strong as a literal god, but he's resourceful and most of all he brings out the best in the people around him. His inability to give in is a bit of a two-edged sword, though. One thing I really regret that they cut out of the Avengers is a whole sequence about how depressed Steve is. Of course they get the point across here too, but it plays into why he's so willing to put his life on the line both here and in the Avengers. And I wish they'd made a Natasha movie after this one with the same directors! They waited too long and lost the window on what I think was the pivotal moment for her character.

If the force of the explosion is enough to send it flying, then fly it shall lol. No matter what’s protecting it.

But having watched Shogun now all but the last episode, I gotta make a case for it: There will be a lot of reactors taking on Shogun, but none with Mr. Boyd’s logical perspective, and this clash-of-cultures series BEGS for that! A westerner who wears his emotions on his sleeve is confronted with, and must survive among, a people who contain, control and deny their own emotional impulses in ways that we can find infuriating, admirable, frustrating and heartbreaking. Mr Boyd, I hope you’ll enjoy Shogun with your wife if you choose not to do a reaction. It’s the most beautifully crafted piece of television I’ve seen in many years.

And I'm with you man, Captain America movies are the best and he's my favorite of the Avengers, too. This one and Civil War are the best entries in the franchise.

And there were a shitload of spinning reels, once everything started up. He said 200,000feet? Ehhh... About 83 reels. Sooo, appx 11,620Mb or 11.62Gb. Ha! Baldurs Gate 3 is 150! Storage was no prob... Memory on the other hand... That's your chokepoint. A Giant instillation like that, 1972 tech could muster... 7-8mb max, with piss poor RAM speeds. Source: My dad worked in the defense industry, as a systems analyst. First with Hughes, then Lockheed, from when he got back from Vietnam, until he retired. He started back when you programmed computers with punchcards, of all the archaic ridiculousness. Fun fact: He designed the guidance system for the TOW-2 anti-armor missile
