I can't comment on Better Call Saul since I'm not watching that at all, but as someone who gave up on SoA several seasons in, I'm conflicted. 😅 Since you already have followers who watch BB, people would probably be disappointed if BCS is dropped. I haven't seen Sopranos, but it is universally lauded as one of the best TV shows of all time, so it's probably a safe bet. SoA isn't bad by any means and has a lot going for it, but it isn't consistently great and goes on for too long. But then the same could be said for other shows like TWD and the X-Files. Sometimes a show is worth watching even if it eventually goes downhill.

2024-04-10 01:49:11 +0000 UTCI've never seen any of them. Judging by the imbd ratings they are all good shows though. The Wire 9.3 Soprano's 9.2 SOA 8.6 50% of the votes are for Sopranos and SoA. Only way to fix it is to do a 2nd round of voting between the top 2 shows and see who wins. That way eveyone's vote counts and there will be clear cut winner. My vote is for vikings but it's useless right now cause it's in 4th.

I’ve watched the entire Sapranos series multiple times needing a mental break between running it back. I’ve never watched Sons of Anarchy but sounds really good.

Sopranos is good but it's soooooo long, that's going to be a real commitment. I voted for SoA simply because it's a shorter series. They are both better than average tv.

There will be moments and episodes you like, but unless you secretly romanticize biker gangs, it's not going to be for you. It's a huge commitment for a mid tier show. (If it was about a group outlaws who drove Jeeps, I'd vote for it every time!)

It's completely overrated. A good, underrated show to check out is "Your Honor" starring Bryan Cranston! But only AFTER you watch Better Call Saul.

2024-04-09 23:38:05 +0000 UTCCool mine!! If you’ve never been, I highly recommend a trip to Kelleys Island, Ohio on Lake Erie. Just near Sandusky (yes, the Sandusky where The Deep was sent in The Boys 😂). Beautiful quarries and a neat glacial formation that you could photograph.

I also think you should poll on having a short series / mini-series day in the schedule. I guarantee you will like Saul more than Sons. As much as everyone loves the Sopranos, the first season is a bit janky. It took everyone including the directors a season to find firm footing.
