Here in Cincinnati on the Ohio Kentucky border we have a ton of underground railroad sites. I grew up going on field trips to them. We also have a ton of native American sites as well including serpentine wall and many burial mounds. I am a history super need lol.

2024-04-01 02:19:56 +0000 UTCI live in Atlanta now and the city’s Civil War history is mostly paved over, but at Kennesaw Mountain north of Atlanta there was a battle in the woods on a 45 - degree slope. You can almost feel the terror when you walk those woods. The claustrophobic nature of the fight, the difficulty in keeping their footing in that tangle.
