Aww, fourth time watching and somehow I never noticed before at 12:20 when Schulz thanks the man with the lantern, the man nods in return, then holds it closer as well , and Schulz gives him a smile in return.

2024-08-22 04:08:47 +0000 UTCYEP. US history and damn world history is full of slaves. What if there werent no black slaves? What if have they staid in western africa? Hmmmm. Think long and hard. Social infrastructure...seems non existent. I think those who has been grew up should thank white ppl in a first place to get them in ´´America´´??????

2024-06-12 19:48:36 +0000 UTCJust commenting while watching movie. Majority slave owners were not brutally beating up Black Ppl. There were some just....4 absurdity. Like in this day society. Some ppl like....how can i say this without...hmmm.. Some ppl just doesnt like ideology of same sex marriages or anything related to that.

2024-06-12 19:45:05 +0000 UTCDentist is from Switzerland. And for Leonardo DiCaprio on shoot of this film was so uncomfortable saying N word all the time, so Samuel L Jackson and Jamie Foxx had to talk hes awkwardness thru to say the N word.

2024-06-12 19:15:45 +0000 UTCYour reactions are some of the greatest and most insightful I watch. I've seen this movie countless times and the way you point out certain details that I never even considered during any of my previous watches, were great at getting my mind to pay attention to more of the details of certain scenes. Like at 2:04:00 when Dr. Shultz quotes himself saying he would "pay top dollar for.." he briefly pauses and the camera perfectly switches to a solo shot of Hildi entering the room as he's saying "..the right nigga."

2024-05-23 06:58:34 +0000 UTCI don’t mean to undermine what you said, everything you said I absolutely agree with (old Ben conversation), but I also think there’s another, much more simple explanation. It’s the same reason we don’t do it today. The citizens outnumber Washington millions of times over. Way more of a numbers advantage than any plantation ever had. But we don’t because we fear repercussions. Yes, they saw white men as supremely powerful, as you say, but they didn’t really need to. All they needed was the knowledge that while Ben could cut Candy Sr’s throat, he and everyone related to him would be killed. They needed to overthrow the plantation and we need to replace Washington. But in each case we’re too scared. And rightfully so

2024-03-28 12:38:44 +0000 UTCThere are also people approving school textbooks who refer to slavery as “involuntary relocation.” People suck.

2024-03-26 22:55:22 +0000 UTCMovie suggestion: Free Solo, the Oscar winning documentary about the young man who free-climbed El Capitan in Yosemite Nat’l Park. Stunning achievement. His name is Alex Honnold. The final 25 minutes of Free Solo manage to be scary even though we know the ending. Friends of his filmed the climb and one of them couldn’t stand to watch. Also there’s a guy in a unicorn costume sleeping on a ledge because reasons.

2024-03-24 04:44:00 +0000 UTCIt was an honor to share this masterpiece with you. I knew this would be one of your faves. Django, Inglorious Bastards, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Pulp Fiction and Respvior Dogs. How would you rate Tarrentino so far? Next should be Hateful 8.

2024-03-22 16:32:05 +0000 UTC3:09:52 Tarantino just loves his over the top effects, usually it's extra blood, but this one is special... laughed out loud in cinema when I saw this.

2024-03-22 15:40:24 +0000 UTCNow you need to watch “Once upon a time in Hollywood”! It’s Quentin Tarantino’s most recent film. It’s absolutely amazing

2024-03-22 07:36:24 +0000 UTCAnother great reaction! Still hoping for you to react to the movie "Catch me if you can". It's another phenomenal Leonardo Decaprio performance and it may intrigue you that the film is based on a true story.

2024-03-22 03:41:35 +0000 UTCKind of random thought, but it’s so wild that everyone universally accepts and knows that slavery in America was real and happened… yet there are Holocaust deniers?? Like how bro??

2024-03-22 02:05:43 +0000 UTCJust so you know he already did Reservoir Dogs sometime last year. It's uploaded here just gotta find it.

2024-03-21 23:14:39 +0000 UTCIf I'm remembering correctly, Miss Lara being yanked off screen is meant to be a reference to old westerns(?) where women didn't die on screen.

2024-03-21 17:12:40 +0000 UTCThey did a mini series on part of Bass Reeves story that you might enjoy. They will definitely have to do more than one season, because he had so much of a story they couldn’t get it all in one, It is called “Lawmen: Bass Reeves” And the old show you were thinking, I believe would be The Lone Ranger.

2024-03-21 14:04:00 +0000 UTCOk , here's some more cool stuff about Django : Unchained - 1st to answer a question you asked Sir , The N Word was used 110 times. Franco Nero , who asked Django how he spelled his name , was the actor who played Django in the 1966 Spaghetti Western film. Which is a must see classic for any fan of westerns , and action. (He also played General Esperanza in Die Hard 2 , and was in John Wick 2 , and many others.) BTW , I hope you get to Reservoir Dogs. His 1st film , and my personal favorite. And as always , Thank you for the reaction and all of the fun and insight you always bring.

2024-03-21 10:03:38 +0000 UTC"Hateful 8" and "Once upon a time in hollywood" are newer than Django as well!

2024-03-21 09:39:29 +0000 UTCThe blood was real! When he slammed his hand on the table he smashed a glass by accident and just went with it!

2024-03-21 08:54:05 +0000 UTCYou have seen him before! Dr Schulz was the Jew Hunter in inglorious basterds!

2024-03-21 08:23:34 +0000 UTCThat's Christoph Waltz, he's a great actor, two time Oscar winner. He was the Jew Hunter in Inglorious Bastards for which he won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and this role giving him his second win.

2024-03-21 07:31:52 +0000 UTC*When Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio) smashes his hand on the dinner-table, DiCaprio did accidentally crush a small stemmed glass with his palm and did really begin to bleed. He ignored it, stayed in character, and continued with the scene.*
Samuel Avetisyan
2024-03-21 07:14:32 +0000 UTCThe Romans practiced a form chattel slavery. The serfs in Russia where also in a similar situation. Feudalism taken too an extreme, way beyond its natural death in Europe.

2024-03-21 06:51:55 +0000 UTCFun fact leo actually cut his hand in the dinner scene and didn't break character he continued on with the scene. He also had a very herd time saying the n word until Samuel and Jamie sat him down and was like hey this is a fing job now suck it up and do ur damn job. They said from then on he actually took on that character to the fullest while on set they said he would walk right past them and ignore them like he was Calvin candy

2024-03-21 06:35:57 +0000 UTCSilly ass statement, but you realize Dr King Schultz is Christoph Waltz, right? He who played SS Col. Hans Landa in Inglorious Basterds. Waltz won an Oscar for Basterds, and then QT wrote this role specifically for him... And won his ass ANOTHER Oscar.
