Actually had a snub nose 38 put between my eyes and robbed in Gadsden. I delivered to restaurants like Ruby Tuesday, Zaxby’s and TGI Friday early in the mornings before anyone else was there.

Drivers can lose around 8 pounds per race. And they do have a few road races sprinkled in. A NASCAR team has a LOT of members, in the neighborhood of 80-100 teammates and the best cars can get up to around $400,000. They’re honestly some amazing machines. It’s one of those sports that translates a LOT better in person. The smell and sound is CRAZY. And tv doesn’t come CLOSE to translating how fast and chaotic it is. They actually started making the NASCAR teams use restricter plates to slow them down for safety reasons. To keep flying cars from going through or over the catch fences and into the stands. 😂 I grew up going to dirt track races in Tennessee. I haven’t been to one in several years. But you being in Atlanta? You should go to at least one just to check it out. Hell take your son.

You are correct Chili's is way better than Applebee's. Chili's has such a wide selection. The best thing at Applebee's though is the quesadilla burger. It's amazing. The best one is "the big short" about the financial crisis. Vice is also really good about Dick Cheney. Both movies star Christian Bale.

I think far more important than being taught to be a winner as a man is being taught to figure out how to establish what winning to you personally, then to win at that. Far too many men see someone else or some societal goal and pursue that since that's winning... they struggle and kill themselves to get there and too often they finally get it and the find out winning that really means they lost in every way that was actually meaningful to them. Being rich and overworked doesn't make everyone happy for example. Spending that time and "winning" with your family and being the best father/husband/son/brother/friend etc might be the sort of winning a person needs, but they need to figure that out and society needs to start teaching men how to figure that out rather than the overly masculine BS it often does. That works for some people, if that's all they want in life, but I believe that's very few people.

Will Ferrell in particular is one of the funniest SNL actors ever (my favorite one personally), probably most known for the Cow Bell skit. You definitely should watch Step Brothers where they star in it as well, basically another comedy in the same way this one was. Though you really can't go wrong with Will Ferrell in general. You've already watched Zoolander where Will Ferrell plays the over the top fashion villain. You absolutely HAVE to watch Anchorman where some of the same supporting actors are in it starring Will Ferrell and some other greats like Steve Carrell (40 year old virgin), Paul Rudd, etc. Blades of Glory, Old School, Elf, Megamind, Stranger than fiction. All good. Also a Will Ferrell SNL skit montage.

2024-02-03 00:53:15 +0000 UTCYour right about the tornadoes. I pay $100 a year for Radarscope. It's the same weather radar app storm chasers use. It is live radar that shows your exact location and the direction you are moving and the tornadoes exact location and direction. I had to leave house twice last year because of tornadoes coming right at my house. One of them took out 2 of neighbors houses across street and the other one missed me by 5 miles and took out the town of Selma. I wouldn't live in the south without that app. It is invaluable knowing exactly where the tornado is instead of hearing sirens and hoping it doesn't hit you. If the tornado is big enough hiding under the kitchen table wont help, you have to leave. I guess a storm shelter or safe room would solve the problem but don't know to many people that have those.

2024-02-02 23:59:37 +0000 UTCThe way they decide what order to line the cars up is the day before everyone runs several laps and they take the fastest lap from each driver to determine starting position. The left turn only is for a reason, when at a nascar race you can see all cars from anywhere on the track vs formula 1 if you watch in person you only see the one area you are watching from. So in a way nascar is better in person while formula 1 you see more of the race from your couch at home unless they modify and race at a nascar track. The average speed of a nascar depends on the track but it’s somewhere between 180 and 200.
