Let’s not forget, Gale was trying to learn everything without letting Walt know. He wasn’t innocent. Plus he made poison for people. Dangerous line of work.

2025-02-03 15:15:46 +0000 UTCWalt took it to the next level. As bad as he is, he really cared about Jesse.

2025-02-03 14:44:47 +0000 UTCI love your reactions to this show but i feel like your reactions to Better Call Saul (prequel/sequel) will be amazing bc of all the lawyer stuff in that show.

2024-01-10 20:03:31 +0000 UTCI do believe myself and everyone else on here is greatly looking forward to your reaction to the season 4 finale. One of the greatest finale episodes of TV history. Season 3 was good, Season 4 is oh so much better!

2024-01-10 18:50:41 +0000 UTCThe ending to both these episodes is just god tier. As a wise man once said Bravo Vince 👏 😍 Also Mike looked genuinely amazed and shocked when Walter changed his demeanour into Heisenberg at the end, like he was looking at a different person from who he’s used to dealing with. Superb stuff

2024-01-10 17:57:55 +0000 UTCYassss absolute gold these two episodes. That final scene shows Walt’s evil genius in full display, how he manipulated the situation with how he was pleading for his life to having a spark go off in his brain to manoeuvre his way out of it. Absolutely fantastic writing as you say and gives me chills everytime I see it! Season 4 is unbelievable so get ready for a wild ride sir 😍

2024-01-10 17:54:24 +0000 UTCWhat a great combination of episodes to have in one week. The fast paced escalation is real on these two! Imagine having to wait a year for the next one now like most of us had to :')

2024-01-10 12:31:10 +0000 UTCI'm an hour south at the moment in a small town caked Socorro.. though I've lived even further south in Las Cruces for years.... let's just say, with buying a house, my best investment was central air lol

2024-01-10 05:58:48 +0000 UTCYea I suppose if you can deal with the heat lol. I got friends in ABQ and when I lived in Colorado Springs, I'd go visit them all time. Idk where you're at but that place was a dump. Santa Fe is nice though.

2024-01-10 05:57:55 +0000 UTCSuch a masterpiece of a finale. Walt really played this one perfectly. Poor Gale lol. The whole sequence of these 2 episodes is just perfect. That scene where Walt comes in like a bat out of hell still amazes me every time. I too didn't see that coming at all. Man I can't wait till the next episode.

2024-01-10 05:55:18 +0000 UTCI live in New mexico, hour south of albuquerque actually... and together, my wife and I make little under 50k a year... we've paid off two cars, and right before covid hit, bought a 5bd room, 2bth, 2000sq ft home. Cost of living in the southwest is great. Another reason why I left Philly for the desert.

2024-01-10 04:06:51 +0000 UTCYou asked what was the point of showing Mike with his granddaughter. Part of it, like you said, was to show him use the balloons. More importantly, it shows the contradictory nature of his character. He's a ruthless killer, but he has a sweet and gentle side to him.

2024-01-10 03:41:32 +0000 UTCThe genius of the show is how the writers constantly seem to write themselves into a corner and then brilliantly execute the payoff.

2024-01-10 02:52:44 +0000 UTCWhen they were shopping for the house, Walt was still working in the lab, so I assume making good money before going on to become a teacher. The average house price for Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1992 was $130,000. So it's quite doable, I think.

2024-01-10 02:14:39 +0000 UTCReally hope you plan to watch the prequel series Better Call Saul after Breaking Bad!!

2024-01-10 02:09:48 +0000 UTC43k back then? They got it when she was pregnant with Jr. Who’s about hit 16. They bought it back in 1992. With Good credit? Very doable. Tight? Sure, but doable.
