HEAT FULL REACTION

Comments

great film! great reaction. I do disagree on one point... i don't think Al's character is weak for agreeing to stay with the woman he married. The woman certainly had faults, but he loves the daughter. I believe that the character would still have some feelings for the wife as well, and it would be in the family unit's best interest (in regards to the daughter) that he stay in the picture.

Great reaction, this is one of my all time favourites. Speaking of great and Al Pacino, when are you reacting to the Godfather?😃

gak9319

Yeah, Sam and Dan Houser took a lot from this movie😄

One of my favourite movies of all time! I knew you’d love it as soon as i seen this pop up on my way to work this morning, couldn’t wait to get home to watch it with you. “Told you I’m never going back” The shootout scene with Vincent and Neil then Moby’s “God moving across the face of water” playing is one of the best ending scenes of all time. Agree with the other poster, the two men were almost mirror images of each other, one easily could have been each other. Most realistic Gun fire in a movie also I think, raw nothing held back, feels like you’re there it’s just wow 🤩

Good good movie.

The background screens running were driving me crazy. I just covered that part of screen up to block them and it was was fine after that.

The craziest shit to me, about this movie, is how Pacino, and De Niro are the same, but opposite, like photo negatives or two sides of the same coin. One almost nihilist, one caring too much. One loud, one quiet. But provessionals, gifted at what they do, and driven to the point of obsession, or monomania. One dark, one light. The reason the diner scene works for me, is they are both looking in the mirror, seeing the man they each could've been. Also, I'll never take the side of a cheater. But maybe he needed her as much as she needed him in that moment. Shit was traumatic, even for someone as jaded as Pacino. His stepdaughter went to him, not because she wanted to die, but she wanted the one consistent man in her life, to save her. Suicide attempt as a cry for help. And whether he loves his wife or not, to comfort someone whose child almost died, is heroic. Were it me, I hope I'd be able to do the same, even if once we got word the girl was okay, it'd be, "Getawayfrommebitch! ...I HATE your ass."

i like the new lighting / angle cant say why but my eyes just feel more relaxed.

Hands down, the most realistic shootout in movie history, and a perfect example of bounding overwatch, and a fighting retreat. Super glad to watch this... Also, you realize Al Pacino, the cop, is Scarface, right?

Mike MIchelsen

You made me spit my drink. However... Hilarity aside, I've gotta co-sign for my man, Scott. Confusing Speed and Heat, is like confusing Nessun Dorma with The Peanutbutter Jelly song, like confusing a tomahawk steak for a freegan buffet(Thas a dumpster, baby!), it's like confusing an awkward, over the pants handy, with that GAWK GAWK 9000. In a word... No.

Mike MIchelsen

You are an unwelcome addition to art criticism.

Nick Chevalier

Totally... Sometimes I get the Mona Lisa confused with a Bob Ross.

Scott Asher

I did

Lenear Boyd

Such a perfect movie for firearms and squad tactics aficionados. Really, it's a perfect movie no matter what you're into. I know before I even press play that Mr. L. Boyd loved it

Jake Martin

I always get this confused with Speed

Nick Chevalier

Ohhhh dropping a bomb on us right now. Such an amazing film. True masterpiece.
