Absolutely agree this was one of if not the best episodes to this point. The look on Hank's face when he gets that phone call still gives me chills. An absolute masterpiece of an episode.

2023-12-21 18:09:46 +0000 UTCI mean, I get it with hank going ape at Jesse tbh. The man has been awake for 72 hours on stakeouts. He finally tracks him down and then out of nowhere from his POV Jesse, who he has never interacted with; knows his wifes name, his cellphone number, and he makes him believe shes been in a major accident. Man was already on the verge of a nervous breakdown Pfffffft, he probably thinks all sorts of bad news is associated with that. Can you imagine the thoughts going through his head? Do the cartel that blew up the tortoise have something to do with it? How much do they know? Who is he involved with? Why do they know about him specifically? Only thing I would have done differently in his position would probably have been not calling an ambulance. I wouldn't care about right and wrong in that moment, legal, illegal, justified. Threaten my family in such a way, while in such a dangerous trade, you're done! Right?

2023-12-21 09:33:35 +0000 UTCDid you notice the bench at the beginning that he was sitting in was a wheelchair :'). Comical flashback foreshadowing. And also how walt cuts the cursts off his own sandwiches since he killed the dude in season 1!

2023-12-21 09:23:41 +0000 UTCFirst and foremost, I have been eagerly awaiting these two episodes for you!!! I think this is a good place to highlight why Walt is such a phenomenal chemist and why that adds to his importance in the show as its fairly clear Gail is a MORE than competent chemist, why isn't he leading the charge? "cooking" meth, using a "pcp" cook wopuld usually yield very poor quality product in real life. The method that Walt uses is actually based on REAL theoretical chemical processes that no chemist has been able to crack (if its even possible!). He was such a brilliant man that had his knowledge wasted on being a high school teacher. Its one of the reasons he is so protective of his formula. Him and Jesse are the only people in the world that know how to carry out this real life "theoretical" chemical process, and Walt is the only man who was smart enough to create it! Such a brilliant man, and he still takes pride in teaching :') I think thats also why he wants Jesse back in the lab. He has nothing left to teach Gale, he enjoys teaching Jesse, I think he finds it entertaining that he has such a terrible attitude, but a great amount of skill .

2023-12-21 08:50:49 +0000 UTCThe RV scene with the phone call to Hank makes you understand why this show is considered one of the best of all time.

2023-12-21 03:30:11 +0000 UTCSo.. you know that feeling you get when you're off-roading your Jeep on a foggy, muddy, narrow mountain road and you're just in the zone... mind focused and machine reacting perfectly to your reflexes... Bro, that's DRUGS!

2023-12-21 02:46:43 +0000 UTCRV's are pretty big once you get everything that takes up all the space out of there, it is a real RV, yes. They used two of them, one for the exterior/driving shots and then one for the interior soundstage. "He's on top of the world, guys." Indeed he was... indeed he was. Also, upon researching (so take this with a pinch of salt), I think if a police officer if suspended and their gun is taken then I think they can still carry their personal weapon. I think the gun was given back because it's the departments gun rather than Hank's personal weapon. If it was his personal weapon he might have been able to keep it unless it was necessary for evidence.

2023-12-21 01:38:13 +0000 UTCAbsolutely brilliant reaction sir. These two episodes back to back are something special! The RV scene in the lot is one of my favourite of the series, everything about it is just masterful, suspense, storytelling plus humour to match with Jesse’s ‘private domicile’ line lol And the shootout scene with Hank and the twins is the same, suspense to the max and plus the sound design anytime the twins were on screen was just haunting! The Show just keeps on getting better and better and I can’t wait to keep watching it with you, feels like I’m watching for the first time again 🙌

2023-12-20 18:44:08 +0000 UTCI mean, he's a shithead, somewhat dirty, cowboy-ass cop. But he IS brave. Dead people freeze up in gunfights, he literally did not stop fighting. He's not likeable, but he is tough, you know?

2023-12-20 07:23:11 +0000 UTCThat was an AMAZING couple of episodes! this show is so good! i figured you might take a week or so due to holidays. i appreciate your commitment sir. Also, so far i am with you completely on the Skyler thing. I really can't help but dislike her. Marie has her faults as well but not as bad as Skyler. a strange obsession with purple though from what i've noticed...

2023-12-20 05:47:30 +0000 UTCThis is when the quality of the show improves significantly and it only gets better. Amazing performance by Aaron Paul in the hospital scenes.

2023-12-20 04:46:32 +0000 UTCIf you notice Walt is now cutting off the crust on his sandwiches. At the beginning of the show he never did. He started eating them the way Crazy 8 liked them after he killed him.
