BBS3E2E3 FULL REACTION

What he did up to that point was selfless mixed with ego. Skylar constantly emasculating and undermining him also led to him feeling like a failure and breaking bad.

"I fu@#ed Ted" is truly 0ne of my favorite moments lol. Such a shocker. I thought we would get some sneaking around and then it would come out much later. Excellent work by the writers.

Andrew Clifton

Appreciate the humorous remark

Lenear Boyd

She lost you with fake bacon. There are Team Skylar folks. Rare and scientist have been unable to figure out what genetic defect causes someone to be on Team Skylar. With enough funding, we may be able to fix said defect in the future. Sleeping with Ted was 100% spiteful. Plus Skylar is not so innocent on top of the Ted incident.

TigerMyth

The first watch through I'm pretty sure I didn't like Skyler and was jumping on the hate train. But after a couple times seeing it, I can understand where she's coming from. Suddenly he's secretive, he has a second phone, he's lying about how his treatment is being paid for, he didn't seem to care too much about getting treatment and how that (even though it's his choice) impacts his family. Plus when she learns about what he's actually doing - he's putting their family in danger with that business. He had hitmen in his house. They have to worry about police - and her BIL is a DEA agent. The shame/embarrassment for their entire family if it's discovered, which is where I think she's coming from in assuming he may just die from the cancer and none of this will ever come out if so.

Lisa Borth

I dont agree with what Skyler did but Walter is anything but selfless. He is for sure a narcissist.

Alyssa Dyson

Yes I am she was def awful even before Walter went and broke bad though so I dont really sympathize with her but I dont shame her for how she is now either.

Alyssa Dyson

also, what Skyler did was messed up. She now knows that everything Walt did was for her and the family. It was beneficial. It was selfless. What she did, (i guess because she felt hurt?.?) was just petty and benefitted nobody. Truly despise her character.

Mister_Bleak

the drama was real with these 2 episodes! I love that walt was able to come home and come clean. Just an amazing scene when the cops showed up. thanks for the episodes :)

Mister_Bleak

not just criminal drug dealer but murder too

RE: No grass in the front yard. I live in Mesa, Arizona and here it's very common to just have gravel in the front and back yards and no grass. One of the best things about being here, almost no maintenance desert landscaping!

Matthew Langley

I can respect that, but I gotta maintain there's so much happening beneath the surface that Hank bears consideration as a complex character. He undergoes a fairly drastic internal change throughout the series while contending with his demons. And for all of his callous humor and snide remarks, he's still a person of strong conviction and integrity, even when he falls short. We see that he's ashamed of himself for what he did to avoid going back to El Paso, embroiling his partner and best friend into his scheme as well. His coping strategy is to retreat and withdraw, but we see that begin to change in a major way over the course of the series.

Jake Martin

Thank you for this comment. I tried and failed, miserably, to articulate this, and ended up deleting the whole thing.

Mike Elder

I don't think what you just described is particularly complex. He's so AFFRAID of being perceived as WEAK and COWARDLY, that he HIDES it by acting like he's strong and confident, just turned all the way up with no subtlety or real thought, whatsoever. I can hardly think of a character so one-dimensional. I Think Jane's dad displayed more distinct personality traits than Hank has, to this point in the show.

Mike Elder

lol great reaction

Clinton Brown

Great reaction again mate, love that you’re enjoying the show so much! I’m almost jealous that you are encountering it for the first time. I Love how Walt thought that dipping sticks with the pizza would be enough to entice Skyler to let him in when she was only focused on Ted’s dipping stick lol Also sorry to hear about that past trauma that sucks mate you’re a strong man but if you have to binge the rest of season 3 of course we’re all here for it!

Ciaran Boag

It is wild how people give Skyler such a hard time compared to her criminal drug-selling husband who puts everyone around him in danger 😂

Teth

i’m more on skyler’s side on rewatches you may understand better why later but yeah i agree with another comment i saw, she’s no worse than walt.

kallista

I am no means a fan of Skyler at all but she's no worse then Walter.

Alyssa Dyson

Having that veggie bacon in episode 1 was such a genius little piece of writing.

Melchizedek

Glad you're enjoying the show.

Melchizedek

To anyone who is ‘Team Skyler’, would you marry this woman in any circumstance? As for supporting Walt… there’s a lot of time for that to change lol

Zachary Berry

You may have figured it out but hank was trying to get out of going back to El paso cause he’s scared. Hence starting a dumb fight with the guys in the bar.

Her sleeping with Ted is like, not even to do with feelings imo. She did it purely and simple to give walt a taste of his own medicine. Its like, you (walt) have done this terrible thing, you've betrayed my trust beyond repair with your lies. And you think it will make that feeling go away with finally being honest about it? Well, let me (Skyler) show you what thats like, I fucked my boss, how does me being honest about that make you feel about that betrayal? It's probably also to do with taking back control of her own life as walt seemingly has left her with no options, she can't tell the police, or anyone for that matter, about why she is in utter distress about her husbands wrongdoings, she can't force him to divorce her as he is refusing, she can't have the man she married back anymore. I think it was just a panic'd moment of, fuck this, i'm controlling at least this. Maybe then he will leave. I don't think Ted is married any more either btw. Afaik they were never together prior to Walt, they just worked together at Teds fathers company. And her and Walt were definitely happy together before he got cancer and started selling meth! She only started moving away from Walt once he started becoming secretive, lying, changing his entire personality because of the terrible things he was doing. I'd never marry someone like Skyer, but I really do struggle to see how any of this is her fault tbh! Her actions certainly havent resulted in two cartel heavies wielding an axe being in the house their children live in. Imagine if they had been home!

Matt Rumsey

Damn man! Sorry this seasons hitting you like that! Binge it, get it gone!

Matt Rumsey

Yesssssssssss, genuinely look forward to Wednesday mornings wfh and watching this reaction a lot! Vicariously experiencing the series again via you! Generally yes, most people only use one phone. They especially don't have SECRET phones they hide from their partner unless they are doing something nefarious. Even most people who live in multiple countries like yourself use a single phone, or even a dual sim phone in my experience! Only people I've know who use multiple phones are drug dealers :') His criminality is bad because she's married to him I guess :P And I guess one is a lot more of a victimless crime? I think she was asking Ted Beneke those questions, because she was relating what he answered with, to her situation and what Walt may be thinking. Your reaction to Jessie taking the house back from his parents was priceless. That scene with Saul, right there laughing with you :') Interersting fact about the pizza scene. Brian Cranston was ready to be in it for the long run trying to make that shot getting the pizza on the roof. Then he came in and did it in ONE TAKE. You can see how shocked he is as he even breaks character and looks back in surprise that he did it :')

Matt Rumsey

I mean... extra crispy humans, to be fair. Like I said before, it was satisfying to finally see the end of the intro, for once. Though, it kind of also became a fun game for me to see if you would do it, every episode. I'm curious if you thought to do that, cuz I asked for one, or if it was incidental. I'm really loving the twofers.

Mike Elder

Sorry to leave two comments but I didn't wanna put this at the bottom of my other giant comment: It's intimated that Hank picks a fight with those guys at the bar because he doesn't want to go back to El Paso. He's traumatized by what happened there, so he tried to sabotage himself in hopes of losing the assignment. Hank is a deeply complex character disguised as a loudmouthed good 'ol boy. He affects a boisterous personality to insulate himself from being perceived as weak or cowardly, concealing and avoiding the thoughts and feelings that sometimes overwhelm him.

Jake Martin

Jessie's parents expression after he opened HIS door is one of my favorite moments in the series.

JM

Not that it makes things any better, but I think Ted is divorced😅

gak9319

Once again love the videos, can't wait for the next one.

Billy E Farquhar

I've never been a big fan of Skyler, but her actions make sense to me, and I can't honestly say I would do anything differently in her situation, other than that I wouldn't make threats that I wasn't prepared to carry out. I would want Walter as far away from me and my children as possible for our safety and wellbeing. There could be no trust with Walt ever again, frankly. She doesn't even know how much danger Walt has put his family in, or what Walt might do for the sake of his criminal enterprise. Not to mention the constant threat of the cops breaking down their door if they catch up to Walt. There were literally two hit men in their bedroom with an axe just hours before the scene with the police. What Walt is doing by strong-arming Skyler in these circumstances is sociopathic imo. He wants what he wants, and in his mind, it's like he's absolved of any wrongdoing because he frames it all as necessary for his family's comfort. Why should he face any consequences for all the lying and gaslighting and criminal activity? It's his house, his family, his feelings, and if Skyler would just let him do whatever he wants with impunity, then everything would be fine. Like she's the unreasonable one.

Jake Martin

Soooo, a three? ...I'll see myself out...

Mike MIchelsen

Grass front yards are uncommon is a lot of the SW desert region of the US. Green grass requires water.

Scott Asher

The actual homeowners of Walt's house put up a fence around the house to stop tourists from throwing pizzas on their roof: Unfortunately, the fence hasn’t stopped some people from continuing to try to land their very own pizza on the Padillas’ roof. “They still try to throw pizzas even though she’s got a gate, she’s got signage. We joke that it’s kind of military-hardened now. Pizza-hardened,” Sandoval says. “Even to this day, people still try to do it. They even try to climb the gate now.”

Nate

bro you use a oneplus too??

Slimsycentaur37

Let’s go… this is where we’re going to get spicy. Thank you for your amazing reactions as always
