I jack off 4 this movie! Remember this, its now 2024 and T2 is still considered best action movie ever made! My humble opinion it still is!

2024-06-04 20:24:04 +0000 UTCas a 20 year old i’d heavily disagree. maybe for your type it would be better growing up now but for people like me, we desperately wish we could back and live in the simpler times.

2024-01-31 03:02:12 +0000 UTCFun fact, the guy taking the pictures at the galleria is 1L19 the same officer who got his squad car stolen by the terminator in the first one.

2023-12-07 06:00:31 +0000 UTCBro, I've seen this movie 100 times, and it still holds up. My mom, came and got me out of school(6th grade) and took me to go see this at the theatre. It holds up. Couple comments I'm sure have already been made. Everything that could be done practically was: explosions, the chopper flying under the overpass, the chase scene in the LA river, etc, etc, ad nauseum. And you can tell, practical effects done in camera will ALWAYS blow away cgi, no matter how good. As for baby infant CGI, the very idea of morphing was created for this movie. The official making of documentary is worth watching.

2023-12-07 04:58:13 +0000 UTCKeep that information coming about photography and movie insider insights. Fascinating. - For the record we saw your toy gun you use to kill spiders. - As to 'the better past'. I did grow up watching these movies, and living in that era. Boring as hell, nothing to do, no information to be gained without physically going to a library, and even then they managed to ban a lot of books . If I'd grown up in the cellphone era I'd have had like-minded friends, learned that I was not a lone gay person, and gotten to know others of the LGBT global community. People of that era who grew up in tiny backwater redneck towns were doomed to suffer in them. I never look back and think 'how nice it was'. That's total crap. Grass in not always greener.

2023-12-06 21:33:22 +0000 UTCI consider this movie to be the best action movie sequel of all time.

2023-12-06 05:18:54 +0000 UTCI was 8 when the first one came out. Watched it on an old top loaded Magnavox VCR. And watched the 2nd in a old school one screen theater. Also watched Gremlins, BIG, Ghost Busters and Back to the Future there. 🤣🤣🤣 Wayyyyy before cell phones were going off and the biggest distractions were teenager boys and girls fooling around because they didn’t THINK anyone could see what they were doing 🤣🤣🤣.

2023-12-06 02:40:30 +0000 UTC🤣 “Casually smoking in the living room” 🤣🤣🤣 This time period wasn’t far from when you could still smoke inside hospitals. I grew up with grocery store chains like Kroger’s having ashtrays at the end of the isles. 🤣🤣🤣 the smoking and non-smoking section of restaurants were literally side by side in the same room. I remember people getting pissed because stopped allowing smoking on planes. 🤣🤣🤣 Walking into the hospital waiting room and there’d be a literal cloud overhead.

2023-12-06 01:59:12 +0000 UTCSame here, 34 now. T2 also had the most re-releases as special editions, with each one adding another channel to the surround. XD They broke boundaries with that Tin DVD set before there were SteelBooks. It was also one of the first Dual Layer DVDs for consumers. Remember rewatching this trailer over and over till it came out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9616Et1eGs

2023-12-06 00:02:35 +0000 UTCI wouldn't mind if you watched more Terminator. But the ones going forward are of varying quality at least in terms of story😅

2023-12-05 21:32:11 +0000 UTCShame I couldn't see this at the cinema, but I wasn't born until two years later😅 One of my favourite action movies, definitely my favourite Terminator😁

2023-12-05 19:38:18 +0000 UTCI think YouTube sensors that movie from their platform. It's risky

2023-12-05 17:47:55 +0000 UTCIn the novelization they take it out to flip the switch from read-only to write so he can become a real live boy (I read a lot of novelizations of mainstream movies growing-up because we lived in the boonies and didn't get to go to the movies that often.)

2023-12-05 13:23:51 +0000 UTCAnother deleted scene Sarah conner almost killed the terminator in the garage scene when they were stiching up then hes on look out. They take his processor out to check for damage and she was gonna smash it.

2023-12-05 13:12:38 +0000 UTCWe saw a glimpse of it when the T-1000 'rippled' after putting the T-101's arm through the big gear, it's made more explicit in deleted scenes that were probably cut for pacing but it was 'Damaged' by the liquid nitrogen and is not operating at 100% capacity.
Molly McAllister
2023-12-05 12:51:12 +0000 UTCYeah, in this time period I think it was before they put the orange bits on the toy guns. Also this was when only SWAT had anything other than a sidearm and a shotgun as far as police armament went.
Molly McAllister
2023-12-05 12:16:54 +0000 UTCin regards to the t-100 falling into the molten steel, when he changed form into the woman, that was john conner's foster mother. I'm so glad you got around to this one. feels like christmas early! this is the highest acclaimed of the films by most, but i do hope you can continue down this particular rabbit hole.

2023-12-05 09:57:10 +0000 UTCYeah, T1 and T2 tell a complete story, the rest of the 'franchise' is unnecessary, but might be good for some laughs. YMMV. (and in the novelization, the Terminator stored the shotgun by threading it through the brake-cables on the motorcycle. Also, I just noticed the Winchester 1887 had what appears to be a full a Remington 1100 forestock instead of the original wood slabs) Edit: also, from what I remember, back when T2 originally released it basically re-defined 'Summer Block-Buster', so... complaints about it being in 'summer block-buster colors' are, well... this was pretty-much the start of that.

2023-12-05 09:37:07 +0000 UTCYes! You Finally reacted to my all time favourite movie first watched when I was like 5 and watched it every day for weeks when I was younger so I’m surprised I’m not more f*cked up now at 31 haha, nothing touches this in terms of action in my opinion. Way ahead of its time, practical and special effects wise that still hold up today, the helicopter scene going under the bridge was real, bravo to the pilot for that awesomeness! Such a cool chase scene. I mean 1 was very good and set the foundation for this one, but 2 blows it out the water for me, I seen this before I seen 1 too which influences my decision but most people agree this one’s better, Cameron completely outdone himself. Also for Sarahs nuke dream sequence, scientists actually wrote letters of praise to James Cameron and the film crew for the accuracy of that scene and what an actual nuclear blast would be like. The T-1000 for me is one of the best if not the best villain in film history, Robert Patrick was so menacing and cold the way he portrayed it. The actor also took weapon classes so he could train not to blink while firing a firearm like in the mall scene when he’s shooting Arnie with the handgun in the back he doesn’t blink once. Also when he’s chasing the bike when Johns bike wouldn’t start, he was told by the film crew to slow down while running because he kept catching up to it, he was extremely fast lol he also trained himself to show virtually zero emotion on his face, he smashed this role. This is the peak of the terminator series for me, anything after pales in comparison, they should have stopped here because it becomes very messy after this, I actually like 3 in some ways but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth after this masterpiece. And no it was Johns step mum Janelle that the T-1000 morphed into when terminating in the steel, that scene is so creepy too like even when falling into temperatures like that, it still fights and tries to find a way to help itself. Then I tear up every time while Sarah lowers Arnie into the steel, John having to watch another ‘father figure’ he’s grown to know just go again from him. Overall thank you, it was a great journey watching this with you sir, the only film I never get tired of watching. It aged like fine wine. Not many if any films since have made me feel like this one did. That hard work and man power on the practical effects was just a joy to watch while watching behind the scenes clips etc.. Oh and finally Arnold is just Perfect as the terminator, the role fits him like a glove, his best film for me and I like all his movies a lot.

2023-12-05 07:29:35 +0000 UTCIt was Connor's foster mother in that one scene, not his birth mother's character from the first movie. Cycling through all the guises T1000 had assumed form of as it tried to adapt and escape.

2023-12-05 05:04:12 +0000 UTCThe TV Series is a great watch though. Too bad it was cancelled after several seasons. I consider all the movies after 2 as different alt universes, even dark fate. They are cool to watch for the blockbuster, but not as deep or lasting as the first 2.

2023-12-05 04:16:14 +0000 UTCIt's a great movie, of course. But is it the greatest action movie of all time? ... ... ... ... Yes, it is. Also Mr. L. Boyd- The remaining movies in the franchise don't quite stack up to the first two, especially T2. T3 and Salvation are okay, but the rest kinda just feel like cashgrabs to me. There are folks who like them, and that's cool, but I think most would agree they just don't measure up.
