Matrix Revolutions time? Based on the posting of these first two, I thought you were savoring them at a once a year rate.

2025-01-23 14:46:53 +0000 UTCSir? Love the reaction! Just wanted to ask if you will react to the 3rd movie of the series. The movie is epic and concludes the series well! Thanks

2024-09-06 04:19:26 +0000 UTCDescribe Jealousy. The essence of Capitalism? Everyone wants what they don't have. Will work harder to get it. Will fight for it. Manipulate others for it. Die for it in the office, or by failing health, or on the streets. - Anyhow, good reaction with lots of photography insights!

2023-12-12 03:32:13 +0000 UTCNice! I was just thinking I should rewatch the sequels. While not as good as the first one, they're still interesting and the combat scenes are so satisfying. It's a pity we still have to put up with shaky cam and cuts in most action movies, (although in that aspect you're in for a treat with one of the MCU movies, not to say too much.)

2023-12-03 02:06:32 +0000 UTCokay, i'm only about 12 minutes in, but here's what you're missin', so far. In the matrix, Tank says "If the war was over tomorrow, Zion's where the party would be". We know about the city and the flying, as well. He takes off, from a phone booth, at the very end. In terms of the tech? Well, what we know from the first, is that there was a big future war where the humans scorched the sky. Presumably, there was legacy future tech and prob'ly still people, now that I'm thinking about it. Most of the people in the matrix were born there. Maybe you misspoke, but Neo didn't dream 'as' Trinity any more than he dreamed as the agent. He just dreamed about her. Lastly, just a reminder; last we saw Agent Smith, Neo busted him open from the inside out. Great, now for the remaining two hours and ten minutes...

2023-12-02 08:07:37 +0000 UTCThe cg was actually really good for its time. It is very stylized, and that's not everyone's cup of tea. I do like it though. One thing that was a problem back then is the cloth simulation. And since Neo is wearing this long jacket, it is very obvious lacking detail and looks very unrealistic.

2023-12-01 20:54:36 +0000 UTCThe Animatrix (Anime Companies making short stories as animation anthology) fills in the gaps of the past, it is good to watch after Reloaded and before Revolutions. Reloaded, Animatrix, and Revolutions were all filmed/made at the same time. (like lord of the rings) There is also a video game tie-in with additional Shot/LiveAction scenes that aren't in the movies. (mainly extra info, not required to view) Resurrections is also very good imo, but it is a total tone shift, in story and visuals. It is shot with natural light vs these movies' studio lighting. It was made over 20 years later. I do recommend though eventually. (don't have to watch close to Resurrections) Also about lighting issues in the first street fight scene (with all the Smiths), they can be explained away in canon as being error in simulation or added for effect in simulation. XD

2023-12-01 14:47:37 +0000 UTCthere is also a 4th one that came out quite recently in comparison! It got a lot of hate but as someone who grew up with these films, I LOVED IT

2023-12-01 11:35:05 +0000 UTCMAN have I been waiting for you to get back to these, and you didn't disappoint! I do hate the cg used here as it was incredibly obvious. Budgets i guess. Never actually noticed the reflection in the glasses. that's crazy. Watching your face waiting for the rave scene to end was hilarious....I've been there. lastly, in case you didn't notice, the "minions" in the mansion were all prior notorious programs that were difficult to delete...werewolves (at least the one that fetched his master from the ladies' room and the one shot in the head with a silver bullet.) and vampires, along with the 2 white ones that were representing ghosts.

2023-12-01 09:11:52 +0000 UTCEver since I first learned about the observer effect as a kid, I developed this notion that maybe our reality truly is an elaborate simulation, not unlike The Matrix. Since the behavior of particles in the quantum realm is fundamentally uncertain, and those behaviors are altered merely by our attempt to understand them through observation, I believe that indicates something profoundly telling about the nature of consciousness and reality. This isn't some passive experience that's solid all the way through, governed by predictable outcomes and infallible metrics. Instead, it's interactive, in a perpetual state of creation, all the way down to the most fundamental building blocks of existence. A simulation generated by consciousness that fills in the finest details at precisely the moment they enter our awareness. I don't really know what any of that means, if it "means" anything at all, but I think it's interesting. The Matrix series provokes these thoughts in me.

2023-12-01 07:24:22 +0000 UTCI remember when these movies were new in the theaters, one of the most consistent complaints I recall of this particular installment in the franchise was, " 'Cave Rave' scene too long."

2023-12-01 06:35:03 +0000 UTCWe all had that same thought seeing these movies for the first time, definitely living in the matrix and the way the worlds going these days sounds like there’s a lot of programs doin what their not suppose to be doin
