2024-07-29 08:00:47 +0000 UTCBut this is why i keep coming back to this...well ´´Doh´´ did it really hurt Mill´s feelings or does he even bother think about hes wife and unborn baby? Doe Knew he got literally on Mills nerve when he found out......Thats it...Or is it? Just watch Mulholland Drv. and make ur own conclusions....remember, director said there aint no wrong answers on that movie but i have my OWN

2024-07-17 15:47:29 +0000 UTCJoh Doe is regularly used villain name. We didnt knew Hes identity at all. Boyd quote is absolute amazing: ´´John Doe´´ is actually everyone of us and none of us´´. Ppl raise ur kids for better future coz ´´John Doe´´ was actually speaking truth about state of...´´streets´´. We.ve seen it and every kid can fell out that crack! And 1 thing Boyd criticized of this movie was lighting. In interviews director wanted very very dark lighting to make hes point.

2024-06-12 18:48:38 +0000 UTCBoyd is 100% point on that John Doe is all of us and same time non of us. Example John Doe is fictional chars name. They do not even know who he is. ´´Set example´´ Dont know about that. Even Doe knows hes work will be forgotten in couple months. Maybe he tought he was written and studied like Dante in Divine Comedy, coz thats the vibe im getting here. Right? 1500, Dante? Dante´s book is still studied and i do not know why? I have read that couple times and seen the references but nothing so special. Difference between John Doe and Dante will be 1 of those ´´producers´´ will be membered forever....and its Dante's Inferno: Maybe Doe wanted to create living version of Dante´s masterpiace but its ultimate failure for him...At the end!

2024-06-07 14:52:54 +0000 UTCIn this masterpiace of a movie, it give chills everytime John Doe loses little bit composure and says ´´Only in a world this shitty could you even try to say these were innocent people and keep a straight face. But that's the point. We see a deadly sin on every street corner, in every home, and we tolerate it. We tolerate it because it's common, it's trivial.´´

2024-06-07 14:43:36 +0000 UTCBoud i know deletion of John Doe was only way. Doe got 3 pointrer, Pitt´s wife, baby and he completed hes work. <(seven deadly sins) But for me John was an atheist...meaning religious ppl will talk about hes work and otherwere nobody cares. Meaning all that John did was 50/50 ratio, like in real life. I do not know can we talk about John Doe as modern day Martyr?

2024-06-04 18:03:10 +0000 UTCIf you want another movie of this quality (in my humble opinion), you should watch "I Saw The Devil". It is a South Korean film; if you do not mind subtitles.

2024-02-01 06:43:27 +0000 UTCWhen I was young, I thought a dingleberry was really a type of berry and I never thought to check. This movie later inspired me to call a boyfriend the 'best dingleberry ever'. Needless to say, a lot of things finally made sense when I found out what it meant. I still use it as a term of affection, but now it's mainly reserved for my pets 😅

2023-11-17 05:28:22 +0000 UTCThis absolutely traumatized most of us when we first watched it but now we all yell "what's in the box" at each other to get over it

2023-08-10 04:47:20 +0000 UTCAs always, enlightening reaction.. as for your experiment, you're one of only 2 reactors I watch, and the only one I pay to. Your insights and unique point of view is valued to me. I watch many of these things alone, sometimes not, but always wish to discuss point of views and light things that I notice. Unfortunately I usually just run an internal monolog as my wife and kids groan everytime I point out foretelling, or symbolism in shots and colors. And you offer so much more with your insight to camera work. I truly enjoy it. On your music, movie, or random video reactions on YouTube you offer what most reactors don't.. a sense of a personal views with out dismissing someone else's view.

2023-08-08 21:12:47 +0000 UTCI have to mentally prepare myself before watching this movie everytime, knowing how it ends makes that dinner with his wife and partner even more heart breaking, and just the over bearing feeling of dread, amplified by the great sound track... they really make you feel like this city is hell on earth.. kinda gives my Gotham vibes if Gotham was real lol, great reaction and input as always, Cant wait for the next BB EP !

2023-08-08 13:11:31 +0000 UTCIve seen this film so many times back in the 90’s, but hadn’t watched it since then. I’m amazed at how gripping it still is after all this time. I knew what was going to happen and was also still on the edge of my seat Masterpiece. So glad you liked it.

2023-08-06 21:11:00 +0000 UTCI'm not religious either, but there is wisdom in the seven deadly sins. Each a path to unhappiness, decay and eventually death🤔 Though I suppose all paths lead to death in the end😵

2023-08-06 04:11:19 +0000 UTCFun thing my editing teacher told me in college: Fincher "allegedly" paid extra money to the editor to have the word "God" synchronize with his name in the intro.
