HP4 FULL REACTION

Comments

They gave clues that Moody was Barty multiple times. Just about every time before Moody took swigs of the polyjuice potion he was licking his lips just like Barty does. He also licked his lips in front of his dad which is why he was looking at Moody oddly right before he turned up dead.

Anyone else think it's gross that a 14 year old girl is on a date with someone who has full on facial hair and is 17-18 years old? Yuck.

Denise Mattsen

laughed my butt off to your reaction to welcome to the quidditch world cup part and when Voldemort stepped on Cedric's face

trueyinyang

You just made my day thanks 👍

Crystal Moore

Later today

Lenear Boyd

When can we expect HP5?

Crystal Moore

REALLY? REALLY?? For 4 movies you've been waiting to see Voldemort alive, let alone have a showdown with Harry and you're stuck on his feet?? 🤦🏾‍♀️

Annashaki

I don't know yet

Lenear Boyd

Okay thanks man 👍

Jeremiah Smith

Think he changed up the schedule a bit, Wednesday most likely🙂

gak9319

Hey Boyd, any idea as to when your HP5 reaction will be released? 🙂

Jeremiah Smith

I would put this dead last too tbh. It was saved with the last 15/20 mins otherwise I didn't care for the tournament at all. There are some hidden gems within this that foreshadows a few things but yeah the next 4 are the real hard hitters

Billy

Now is when the story heats up! I love the rest of the story!

Mary

Also theres one more movie thats gonna focus on romance a lot more then this one so be prepared lol

Madeye Moody didn't use an unforgivable curse on Malfoy. The curse he demonstrated in class was the Imperius Curse, which is the mind control curse. I think it was somewhat poorly demonstrated because it kind of makes it seem like just picking the spider up and moving it around was the curse. Levitating something and moving it around is not a curse; that's just an ordinary spell. But what the curse actually was was taking control of spider's mind and controlling its every action, including making it not bite the students. Moody didn't mind control Draco, he just transfigured him into a ferret and threw him around a bit. Which is certainly against the rules and also child abuse, but was not an unforgivable curse. EDIT: Of course when I say Madeye Moody I mean Barty Crouch Jr disguised as Madeye Moody lol

This one was a little meh for me had a strong start and ending but the middle kinda bores me a bit... the next one is one of my favs and I think you'll like it the best so far.

Alyssa Dyson

Only 6 min in and your face when they say the quiddich world cup knowing you don't like quiddich ☠️😂

Notice all the Riddles on the gravestone died the same year...

Unfortunately for you there’s another movie with a lot more of the romance

Ron is a hormonal teenage boy suffering from low self esteem who thinks his best friend lied to him. It’s no excuse but I can understand why he acts the way he does this movie. He is the youngest of 6 boys (all overachievers), his little sister is more powerful than him, his best friend is the most famous person in the wizarding world, his family is poor and he gets second hand everything from his wand to his clothes, he doesn’t think he is good enough for the girl he likes, and then throw in everything else thats happening in the movie and you would see why he is a little unbearable. I love the trio individually and I don’t like the hate that ron gets because of the movies.

The muggle caretaker at the beginning has an interesting backstory as does Barty Crouch (Sr & Jr). It would be awesome if you read the books. It’s such good storytelling and this book was basically a “whodunit”. Instead they made what was suppose to be a story full of darkness and suspense into a teen drama by focusing on the small romantic parts in the book. Also Harry and hermione usually comes to ron’s house right before the start of the school year so that they can go to hogwarts together given that both of them lives with muggles. Harry’s aunt and uncle could care less where he goes as long as it’s away from them and doesn’t bring any attention to them. In the books they do contact the Dursleys and ask beforehand if Harry could come and rather than be stuck with Harry all summer they let him go.

Watch Stargate SG1. Greatest show ever lol

Lenear Boyd

Most people are mad when they realize we don't get any actual Quidditch during the World Cup scene but I knew you'd be happy lol.

It's also the reason many of the Death Eaters were able to avoid punishment because they claimed they were under the imperious curse.

Harry Potter night with Boyd been the the highlight of my week for the last month. Cant get enough and could only imagine how his initial reaction was to some of the star trek episodes that he has seen lol. I've been thinking about starting it since he gave harry potter and star wars a shot but not sure where to start and where to stop. Either way love the harry potter reacts and as always cant wait for the next!

I think this movie did a way better job at exposition than the previous one did. Not only were you, as a first-time watcher, less confused, but I had a much easier time analyzing the actual content while watching. Never watched these movies, as carefully as I am here, before. The one part that stood out was how they presented the Unforgivable curse. I see how you would be confused by that. They made it seem like the Imperius curse (of course, I'm a big nerd, so I knew of these spells before watching the movie, as a child) was about making an animal fly around. Then to make it even more confusing, the same character seemingly did it once more in the same vein. But that was actually another spell, 'Wingardium Leviosa', or something. He turned Draco into a ferret and made him fly around, yes. But earlier, he used the imperius curse, which is a mind control spell. Rather than him making the spider float around, he controlled its mind and commanded it to fly around. Which is why he was talking about how the spell had made trouble for the ministry. Yeah, it was kind of awkward, being presented as it was. The Imperius curse was actually used twice after that in the movie, but I couldn't pick up any clues that would suggest so. Once, on Krum, in the labyrinth, which was the reason that he was attacking the other contestants. The other time was on Harry himself, when Voldermort made him bow. I don't think you'll have to remember this curse though, as I don't remember it playing any important part at all, in the movies specifically. Anyhow, glad I have an opportunity to put on my nerd glasses now and then and dive back into my childhood for a bit with you here. Fun watch 👍

Your wife is going to have a 45 minute conversation with you about this movie.. and I'm looking forward to it!

This movie is my 2nd favourite I think, it's been a while since i've seen the others as well. This movie/book also ruined Ron for me as a character, I already didn't really like him but this movie turned him into a useless character for me. He whines, gets jealous, acts like a bitch, is a dumb dumb sometimes, and is useless as a main character (No disrespect to the actor, Rupert Grint).

EndlessRiver

Bro, you gotta be a little more considerate of my time zone. I can't be up watching movies with you at 5 in the morning...

Jakob

To bad I'm at work for another 3 hours mate lol

Christopher Wichman

My mom took me to see these movies when they came out since I was heavy into the books as a kid. Goblet of Fire was the last one we watched together in the theatre. By the time Order of the Pheonix came out, I was old enough to go with friends. I think mom still would've come but she was just happy I finally had some friends to go with me instead haha

Jake Martin

It's going to be a good night tonight!
