HP3 FULL REACTION

Comments

What's wild to me is that the memory he chose the first time when saying expecto patrumum was of riding his broom and not something about his friends. Weird.

Denise Mattsen

The books are amazing! However, you can understand this scene, just go back and listen to each line that's being said by each character. I just think you didn't pick it all up cuz it was going so fast. I loved your reaction though!

Annashaki

Well I guess if using magic is lazy, we should stop using planes, trains and cars, maybe even the wheel and just walk everywhere. Lol And forget about cell phones and computers, if you want to talk to somebody, you guys need to go meet in a mutual place and it's really lazy for you to be using those headphones to hear the movie better. Matter of fact, why are you watching the movie when you should be reading the book. That's just lazy. Oh and while we're on the subject, did you make your clothes or did you buy them or worse than that...did you order them?? Don't be so lazy. You can buy a sewing machine and make....oh wait 🤔😂.

Annashaki

OH MY GOD YES the books neeed to be read to fully understand everything that happens in the films. this is why they are now making a tv show based off of the books!

Silmoheru Rosaslie

also for future reference there is no ending scene after the credits in any movie so no need to skip to see just close.

Silmoheru Rosaslie

i have a loop hole with magic being for the lazy. if that was so wouldnt all wizards and witches be fat because they would be to lazy to do anything?

Silmoheru Rosaslie

i also find your FAKE dumbledore insulting as we have this dumbledore for more films and personnally i prefer this one

Silmoheru Rosaslie

ok so no-one has explained the time turner so i will Hermione being interlectual as she is wanted to take more classes than she was able to so she saw professor mcgonagall who let her use the time turner for that year and that year only. Hermione had to give it back at the end of the year, so if you are thinking about seeing it again think again makes no other appearance. (all explained in the books)

Silmoheru Rosaslie

You don't like sports and the rules of the game are too simplistic making it easy for a seeker to win the game almost immediately. And when the book came out, plenty of people joked about the kid with glasses being the superstar seeker. Pushing the chosen one trope a bit too hard making him good at everything.

TigerMyth

I'm loving these reactions so far bro. Can't wait for Goblet of Fire!

Jeremiah Smith

I like to think Harry and Hermione created a round-about in time they must always go round once before continuing their journey through time.

Jason Hammock

Watching the confusing scene again from when the grim drags Ron into the tree but knowing he wants to get the Rat and not Harry makes it so much easier to understand. That and every word spoken is about Peter “I found him” “let’s kill him now”

Dan Hale

Though Harry plays for Gryffindor and Snape is Slytherin so he has every incentive to sabotage his playing ability.

William P. Esping

Repairing non magical items is easy but repairing magical items is difficult if not impossible. You could technically easily repair it, but it’d be just a plain broomstick then. Any magic left would be glitchy just like Ron’s wand in the 2nd movie Also Lupin and Sirius knew about the map because they, along with Peter and James Potter, created the map. When Harry first gets it it says the creators of it are Moony (Lupin) Wormtail (Peter) Padfoot (Sirius) and Prongs (James)

William P. Esping

I will admit your theory of Sirius disguising himself as Dumbledore, and only the audience can see it due to the actor change, would have been really cool. Keep in mind, the books came before the movies. Some of those theories couldn't work simply because the audience wouldn't have been the same kind of audience.

Oouga

Not fake Dumbledore. The other actor died and had to be replaced. There was no choice but to use another actor.

Oouga

“I don’t think this is a good idea for Harry to have. He’s very mischievous” 😂😂 I know you’re new to this world, but just be informed that Fred and George Weasley are the undisputed kings of mischief at Hogwarts. Legendary status. Loki himself would respect the two of them. Harry is a strict rule follower by comparison lol

David Nettles

It's just underage wizards who can't do magic outside of school. Once you are of age I think it is 16 you can do magic in the real world. This is because kids have less control over their magic for example Harry accidentally makes the glass disappear in the first movie for the snake and blowing up his aunt. This was all just accidental based of emotions.

Banchy Howells

A silly easter egg... If you watch the credits, the footsteps moving on the Marauders Map... In some dark corner, there are two feet together between two feet pointing the opposite direction... Hahahahaha, They be fuuuuuckin' at Hogwarts!

Mike MIchelsen

Finally! The Hewlett-Packard 3 came out! Wait a minute…

David Nettles

As insufferable as Snape can be... as an adult watching these films I have to give him props for not giving Harry preferential treatment on his homework deadline just because he's a school athlete with a game coming up.

Alicia Hauskins

Your reaction to the Willy Wonka Scene was great, those buttons always get me to laugh too. Just now saw that the wizard in the Leaky Cauldron was reading a muggle book "A brief history of time", by Stephen Hawking. Neat (Seen this movie probably over 15+ times now, at least 10 times) Also don't know if it was mentioned by another commenter, but the books tell that the stories are the time period of the 90-2000s. (depending on who you ask, not definite but around these years, so movies are all period pieces) Can't wait for the next one!

Triforce of Shadows

Yes, Yes, Yes! Just found in my feed. (post reaction after watching)

Triforce of Shadows

One little detail I missed was Lupin standing infront of Harry when the Dementor presented itself as Harry's fear in the classroom. The fear changed to Lupin's which was THE MOON because he's a wolf. Crazy writing hahaha

Billy

Shame we lost Richard Harris, but Michael Gambon does a pretty good job as Dumbledore🙂

gak9319

Solid explanation.

Dasypodidae

It gets MUCH darker after this. The Goblet of Fire is 😳 from beginning to end. Maybe because I was desensitized at an early age, but I read the books and watched the films from elementary to middle school with no fear lol...besides the snakes (serious phobia).

JM

Never once did I realize how confusing this movie must be to one who has not read the book. Glad the potterheads are up in here ready to explain

Jakob

Sirius was never trying to delete Harry. He grabbed ron who was holding the rat aka peter. He wanted to delete peter for setting him up.

Alyssa Dyson

Richard Harris played Albus Dumbledore in the first two Harry Potter films, but when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease the role was passed on to Michael Gambon. Richard died in 2002 aged 72 at University College Hospital, London

Lonnie Vannatter

Sirius was never meant to delete Harry but we were meant to think he was - it's the old bait and switch - so we think along with the kid trio that Sirius and Lupin mean to kill Harry until they make it clear that they were going after the rat not harry - even though it sounded like harry - hence the confusion of the kids until they go after peter. then harry figures it out, disarms snape and hears the guys out - he gets it and helps them try to get Peter. Hope that helps. Others said it better probably. Can't wait till you see the rest! Enjoy!

JR

As they grow older - the stories mature and the themes grow darker - we grow we the characters and watch the world expand - the age appropriate levels go up every year. :)

JR

The explanation for what happened in the scene that somewhat confused you is that Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail) is actually the one that betrayed Harry’s parents and framed Sirius. Sirius was never planning on killing, sorry deleting Harry, he was planning on killing Wormtail. That’s why he dragged Ron in there, cos he had the rat. Lupin figured out what had happened (wormtail framing Sirius) when he saw the map and Harry said it had Pettigrew on there and so he also came in to get revenge on Wormtail. It was intentionally framed to seem like they were talking about Harry, but they weren’t

Jason

Cuaron is an exceptional director. This series was lucky to have him. I wish they had more one off directors like him and Newell for HP4 since it kinda forces them to put their all into the film. Cuaron alone changed the look of characters and the castle and he was excellent inputting his own style and design while keeping everything canonically accurate.

Slimsycentaur37

The part that is not explained in this movie is that the map was created by Harry's father, Sirius, lupin and wormtail. Moony, Wormtail padfoot and prongs. Moony being Lupin because he's a werewolf. also explains why Harry thought his dad saved him. "Prongs" as in stag antlers. Padfoot = Sirius cuz dog, wormtail is a rat.

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

This movie is my favourite because it really shows a shift between the wonder and childlike feeling the first two movies had (not a bad thing!). From here the series only gets darker and more serious, it's some brilliant film-making!

EndlessRiver

Rules of Hogwarts: 1. Put children in dangerous situations, that's how they learn. 2. The Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor should be the creepiest dude in the movie.

Scott Asher

They definitely get darker and darker as you go.

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

Richard Harris who played Dumbledore in the first two movies passed away before the filming of this movie. Michael Gambon took over as the actor for Dumbledore for the rest of the movies.

Nate

This, this is where it starts to get really good

Mikel Swart

Go to bed
