Not everyone has seen Star Wars if you are going blind not knowing anything about the franchise it would be easy to get confused about the chronological order of the Star Wars movies. Adding to this fact that George Lucas decided to start at part IV to VI right in the middle of the saga does not help much either. Than to go back and do the prequels I to III really adds to frustration especially when it seems that technology in the past is way better the future annoying as well and Disney really fucks things up. So give him some slack and another thing I admire the man for jumping into this story head first and blind folded

Lonnie Vannatter

are we getting anymore star wars films?

Silmoheru Rosaslie

I keep trying to watch your Star Wars reactions but you have totally screwed it up for me with the order you did these in. For as smart as you are, it's a total turn off to see you so constantly confused as to what is going on. I'm so sorry to say this because I love your reactions. I wish you would re-react to them and watch them in either release order or chronological order... but some kind of order that is LOGICAL !!!

Kevin Murphy

Probably the easiest way to refer to "the first movie" is by calling it "Episode 4". That way you won't confuse it with the 4th filmed one, and everyone will know you mean that one.

Pistols O'Brien

This was the first star wars film released after it was bought by Disney, hence the bigger budgeting and better cinematography. Also, the whole move was built around a single line of dialog in the original, episode 4.... when discussing their attack strategy, they say that the cost of the death star plans was high....

Shawn Leaf

2 characters in this movie were completely CGI because the actors from the original were dead. Princess Leah (Carrie Fisher) and Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing). This movie solved the plot hole of, why would the Death Star be built with such a big flaw. It also ends with where the Start of Star Wars the 1st. And itsa OK with calling it the First one . It was the first one. Anyone alive that saw it when it came out will always refer to it as the first one . It was originally just called Star Wars. There was no Star Wars, A New Hope. that was retroactively named. I would like to suggest you look at the Disney Series Kenobi. It tells what he was doing up until he met Luke on Tattoine. Also a series called Andor, the origin story for Andor.

For the Different Imperial Troopers, The regular Stormtroopers (clean white armor) are serving the role of a galactic marine korps/light infantry, they are a step above the regular Imperial Army Troopers (Which would wear mainly grey light armor and are less trained and which disney seems to have forgotten until the andor show) the Beige Armored troopers you asked about are called Shoretroopers and they are used for Garrison on Tropical enviroments, the difference to Stormtroopers is just they have a better air filtration system in their helmets and lighter armor. The Black Troopers are Called Deathtroopers (hopefully in reference to a star wars book called Death Troopers. its about a imperial bioweapon that turned people into Zombies) and the Deathtroopers are generically enhanced troopers, so a bit more durability, strength, intelligence, just generic scify enhancements which, of course, you would never guess from the movie.

Patrick Dirr

As far as the different storm troopers go... the White ones can't dance, the Black ones can't swim and the Tan ones are taking both of their jobs. (OK, just a little light hearted humor here on a Sunday night, I'll see myself out)

Scott Asher

Shout out to Darth V! Lightsabers are cool, but the Jedi-Mind-Choke is bad@$$

Scott Asher

I really hate this movie. I guess I'm a bit of a purest. In Legends (the books) in the Han Solo Trilogy, Bria Tharen, who is a perfect character for a badass female lead, steals the death star plans with the original red/rogue squad, which was a rebel spec ops team and beams the message up to Tantive IV. She dies alongside her entire team (mostly comprised of humans and Bothans) in a last stand to see the plans get to rebel command. Boba Fett delivers the news to Han later in Book 3. So many incredible stories got annihilated when Disney took over the Star Wars franchise. I guess we will never see Wedge Antilles and Rogue or Wraith squadron on the big screen. Or follow Corran Horn as he faces Isaard to get back his girlfriend. Or see the Battle for Nar Shadaa, Hutts versus outer rim Imperials. Okay I'm done ranting. On with the show!

William Clark

takes place between episode 3 (where anakin becomes vader at the end) and episode 4 (the first one you watch). this one is about how they get the death star layout that is used in episode 4 to blow up the death star. the guy you thought was familiar was there at the end of episode 3 when luke and leiya were being born. when he said he had to contact someone im certain it was leiya he was referring to.

Mister_Bleak

Heavy rain fucks with all sorts of sensors, not just sight.

Molly McAllister

Yep, and the black ones were called Deathtroopers. They were elite stormtroopers trained under Imperial Intelligence and often assigned as a protective detail for high ranking imperial officers.

East_Coast_Overseer

We're Star Wars Fans, we know what you mean by 'The first Movie'. >xD

Molly McAllister

The blind monk is not a Jedi. Jedi are a specific organization, not all force-sensitives are part of the Jedi Order (or the Sith).

Molly McAllister

I admire your commitment to the bit of going in 'blind', buuuut... there's such a thing as too much commitment. Things you really should've known before viewing, that EVERYONE Knew before viewing during this film's original release. 1) This takes place between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. 2) This is the most recently filmed of all the movies you've encountered thus far. 3) This was one of the first new Star Wars movies produced after the Lucasfilm buy-out by Disney.

Molly McAllister

The first season of The Mandalorian was excellent, it walked so Andor could run. Unfortunately latter seasons were a mixed bag (literally, mixing up with and cannibalizing Book of Boba Fett even.)

Molly McAllister

My favorite Star Wars movie. There is a series on Disney+ "Andor", that is the origin story, or Capt, Cassian Andor. Only one season so far. But EXCELLENT. Gritty. Real. Lived in. To me, fantasy, and SciFi are so much better, when it reflects the world as it is, "Solo" is also pretty good, Definitely gets a bad rap. But as I said. This is my favorite.

Mike MIchelsen

1. For more "like this" in terms of cinematography: definitely Mandalorian(2019-present) series. It takes place after episode 6. Basically a Sci Fi Western Series. Even non star wars fans love it. Andor (2022-present) series is a precursor to this movie and stars Cassian before he is a captain. Can also be watched at any time. Also very good not much lore knowledge needed. "Solo" is also pretty good and similar to this for a movie in that it is a one-off and at least you know the main character doesn't die. Would watch all of these before the sequel trilogy(7,8,9) that way you can hate them just as much everyone else 😂 2. The guy you said looked super familiar is Bale Organa, who adopted Leia and helped Yoda escape at the end of 3. 3. Laughed out loud when you said Admiral Tarkin looks evil cause I'm pretty sure you said the exact same thing in the first movie.

Brandon Tracy-Hurst

The tan troopers are Costal Defender Stormtroopers often called Shoretroopers. They are armed for tropical environments.

Christopher Wichman

Saw is an interesting character. He appears in this, Andor, The Clone Wars(animated series) and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order(video game).

Ashley

Going to be great watching this movie in full, have only seen bits and pieces. I believe this takes place between Episode 3 and Episode 4 and came out in 2016! From what I remember it's one of the better newer Star Wars movies. Hope you have a great weekend and can't wait for Lord of the Rings (Extended Editions, of course <3) :D!

EndlessRiver

Not sure how this one will hit for you. But its a great movie and its tv prequel Andor is even better. And that is before I even bother suggesting The Mandalorian which isn't as good but more popular.

Ashley

I remember feeling disappointed that Darth Vader never really did too much the whole movie, and than we got that last minute or so and my Cousin and I were almost screaming in the movie theater lol.

Christopher Wichman

This is one of the best Star Wars movies for me. So good. It's funny this pops up as I'm literally watching your drone footage video on YouTube. 🤣🤣😂
