2023-06-12 06:49:36 +0000 UTCIt's funny, you said, "Who's gonna save him?" Pita did. And then he saved her back. Remember back at the beginning, when he asked his buddy, "You think God'll forgive us, for what we've done?"? Think about it, he told Pita(Peta?) he was going home too, and meant it. He didn't think that at the start of the movie. That part always makes my face leak.

2023-06-12 05:15:11 +0000 UTCTony Scott was a very interesting film director to say the least. He had a so called "blank check" when it came to production of his films due to his massive success early on from Top Gun, and because of his older brother Ridley Scott, an arguably more successful film director. He could basically do whatever he wanted and did not waste this privilege and experimented with various shots, cameras, angles, and lighting to push cinema boundaries, which resulted in his own unique fast-paced shooting style. He wanted his cameras to "act" along with his actors and would use 4 or 5 different cameras and angles for one shot or scene. I feel he never quite had that magnum opus film, but I appreciate his work massively. RIP
