He wasn't being cocky, he was trying to get the mountain to admit that Tywin Lannister ordered him to kill his sister. Which was dumb, because he wasn't going to do that. He did underestimate a very dangerous man. As soon as he got the mountain down he should have killed them. The problem is once killed, there was no way to prove that Tywin ordered the murder of his sister.

2023-04-07 12:13:22 +0000 UTCI love seeing Stannis watch Jon behead Janos like, "I am Stannis Baratheon and I approve of this execution". 😂🤣😅 Brienne and Pod are such a great duo. Love their dynamic. I won't say much about Sansa's situation till later bc any opinion I give could be a spoiler. Arya has definitely joined an odd group with cult vibes. They also seem to follow the Karate Kid training regiment. Doing simple chores for long periods of time with no explanation as to how it will help them lol. In show age Tommen is like 13 or so and Margery is 18. In real life he is 16 and she is in her early 30s. You have solid instincts when introduced to characters. I felt the same way about the high sparrow when I first watched this. Super culty vibes. As far as filming locations the main places they film are Northern Ireland (This is also where the studio is), Iceland, Spain, Croatia, Morocco and Malta. Spain was definitely used a lot so I'm sure you will recognize more as the series goes on.

Literally no one has heard of him. That being said he did know what his father did which makes this still messed up but no, he had no idea that Ramsey is nuts.

2023-04-05 16:31:00 +0000 UTCMan episode 2 is so good. The reason Little Finger didn't want to let Brienne leave is bc he's trying to keep his and Sansa's movements a secret. Tyrion is still devastated bc of Shae. He truly loved her and getting over her won't be easy. Sam's speech for Jon was just amazing. Seeing him win was so satisfying. As far as Danny goes she is in a rough spot right now. She does need to establish a trial and punishment system. She should have done this before. All the masters should have been investigated and given trials as we found out that many of them spoke out against crucifying those kids but they were outnumbered. A trial could have separated the innocent from the guilty and things could have went smoother. She absolutely shouldn't have done that execution in public but I understand her intent. She wanted to show the "Masters" or wealthy class or whatever you want to call them that the law will be applied equally to all and she won't hold different groups to different standards.

2023-04-05 16:25:35 +0000 UTCWhat 'really' makes Cersai so dangerous is that she Thinks she's much, much smarter than she actually thinks she is. Like, she thought she was so clever in ordering the pyromancers to mass-produce wildfire but Tyrion forsaw that if the average conscripted peasant were forced to handle it in the conventional way as a weapon they would've burned-down all of King's Landing before Stannis even made landfall. She thinks she's the 'Guile Hero' of her own story, but she's really the spoiled princess. She's only ever gotten her way, to any extent at least, through tantrums, that's what she's learned and she's far too old to unlearn that. Like when she threatened to expose her and Jaime's incest and the true source of the King's Heirs to get Tywin to back down from marrying her of she had no thought to how if she'd done that she'd have been drawn and quartered for treason.

They never really explain who the faceless men really r in the show but in the books it's explained that all of bravos is made up of escaped slaves from old valyria and that the faceless men r by far the most efficient and expensive assassins in the entire story. It is theorized that the faceless men were the one responsible for causing the doom that destroyed old valyria by assassinating the fire mages that kept the volcanoes under control. The thing that makes cersi so dangerous and stupid is she runs purely on emotion and rage and NEVER thinks things all the way through or thinks long term she only worries about what she can do to get her way right now. And when it comes to the shots that were taken in the streets of Spain most of the extras were actually the residents of the city. They did the same thing in house of the dragon filmed in the city amd used its residents as extras.
