Reservoir Dogs FULL REACTION

Comments

Gets easier the more you try!

Mario Escalante

Love watching someone discover Tarantino for the first time, especially someone who actually understands what he's doing behind the camera. Pulp Fiction should be high on your list for next movies to react to

Steve Kozlowski

As a movie reaction profiteer how old does a movie have to be to do a reaction on said film?

John Dodo

Another great reaction. I do appreciate how you mentioned it felt like this was filmed for those who appreciate film. That's exactly what Tarantino is as a director. He's a gigantic film buff and his subsequent movies only get better. I do recommend going through his filmography, definitely one of the top directors of the last 3 decades. BTW, that specific shot where you mentioned it might have been cut, with the cop and Freddy (Mr. Orange) talking, it's called a split diopter. Its a specific lens where each half has a different focal length, it allows you to have two distant objects in focus. When used correctly it can be pretty cool. The blurriness in the middle of them two is just an artifact of the lens itself.

David Melo

When Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction entered the scene, it was a milestone in movie history. I’m in my mid 40s and I haven’t seen any other director/writer make such an impact. The movies were actually quite controversial when they arrived.

Guy from the 80's

Now you have to watch all the Tarantino films. It's a must if you enjoy cinema. Also Vic Vega has a brother in Pulp Fiction.

D Montano

Would love to see a reaction on Pulp Fiction. Very funny, more put together but also has bits and pieces of story here and there much like this. Loved this reaction though, keep up the good work

Reaper-28

This is one movie i've never seen but wanted to. it was worth the extra day or 2 of waiting. grabbing some popcorn now and sitting down to watch.

James Sipler

The great thing is you have the opportunity to watch all the Tarantino films in order. Everyone has their own favorite so you probably can’t go wrong but going in sequence is a really fun thing to do. Next up Pulp Fiction

Skyler Thomas

Trickery! thank you!

Lenear Boyd

You snap your fingers and allow th middle finger to let go on the gear to spin it. In turn it lights. :)

Mario Escalante

Teach me! lol!

Lenear Boyd

I thought the thing with the Zippo was deliberate. Harvey Keitel was having trouble, then the thing lights immediately for Steve Buscemi, who's about to deliver a monologue.

Nick Chevalier

You called it, it is definitely a film. Done on the cheap, his first film, and yet it has become a cult classic. I highly recommend diving into the Tarantino library. Pulp Fiction is legend, obviously, and there are many more that are so very good. For instance, "The Hateful Eight" is one of my favorites, I will even go so far as to recommend the extended 'directors cut' even though the length may give you pause. Oh, Django is also freaking amazing imo.

Stephen ODaniel

I looked up who shot eddie and in the script mr white was supposed to shoot both of them but I guess the squibs(fake gunshot thing in their costumes) went off in the wrong order so he just went down instead of turning to shoot eddie first. it was basically an error and I guess they couldn't reshoot it.

Ashley

I would love to see that one.

Ashley

I tried it myself while watching and its possible but yo it kinda hurts.

Ashley

I made my first comment before I even hit play.

Ashley

I need to rewatch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood because I've only seen it once and I don't remember a ton of it.

Ashley

lol watching you nerd out on this was too funny, there's dozens of errors some left on purpose in this movie and its still top tier.

DC

Yeah, lighting a zippo by snapping your fingers over it is a definite talent, I've seen it done. As for 'is this real?' ...It's a movie bro. The actor may not be a smoker, could be as easy as that. It's Quinten Tarantino at the opening of his career before he became a big Hollywood name, being all artsy and experimental with his filmmaking, The dated look to the filmstock and production is twofold. 1) To emulate the grindhouse movies from the 70's that Tarantino loves so much (this movie came out in 1992) and 2) It's early Quinten Tarantino, back when he was full-Indy and not a big Hollywood 'Bankable' name, didn't have a lot of money for the production back then.

Molly McAllister

I can't say for certain in the time and place where the movie is set, but here and now Mr. Pink is factually incorrect. Waitresses do Not make minimum wage, according to labor law positions where tipping is 'customary' are exempt from minimum wage regulation.

Molly McAllister

Lol. I dont know if this man can handle Django. Would be a great reaction.

Dustin Puhalski

Its totally possible to snap light a zippo. I can do it lol. Party trick really

Mario Escalante

How the hell y'all have comments less than 20 minutes into 2 hour movie?

Nick Chevalier

I would say Django and Pulp are tied at first for me. I agree though. This is a great movie but not one who watch over and over. I still need to see Once Upon a Time in Hollywood lol.

Drewcliff82

Oh boy this is a fun one for sure. Tarentino's very first. Mr. Pink is my absolute favorite and thus was the role that made me a massive Steve Buscemi fan.

Drewcliff82

A good movie but not a Tarantino film I find myself going back to very often. Jackie Brown is probably my favorite followed by Django and Pulp Fiction. But Reservoir Dogs is still something you gotta see at least once.
