EARLY ACCESS - GOT S3E9-10

Comments

Rewatchng and just noticed in season 3 episode 7, when Jamie is leaving Harrenhal he said to Lord Bolton "Tell Rob Stark I'm sorry I couldn't make his Uncles wedding. The Lannisters send their regards" Exactly what Lord Bolton said when he put the final knife in Rob Stark. Jamie's orders?

Bray

Dude, you STILL don’t feel bad for Theon? Jesus, what the fuck does someone have to do to earn some sympathy from you? Damn

CJ Mars

they literally killed 10,000 men at dinner

kallista

I am assuming by "avatar" you mean it felt super white savior ish. but if I was a slave and some bitch with dragons said I was free, I would be on board with it. I know I'm too white to say that but fuck it.

Ashley

What are you vaping? is it THC? or just flavored nonsense nicotine juice?

Ashley

Speaking of Klingons did you see Michael Dorn as Worf in S3E2 of Picard? He was a fucking beast and I loved it. Klingons are dope, Gowron, Kurn, Martok. Total badasses. May I die in glorious battle and meet Kahless in Stovokor. Qapla'!

Ashley

Man the long and horrible torture Theon goes through... He earned it but damn it is hard to watch. also the whole whats your name scene seems ripped straight out of Roots. https://youtu.be/FMPFQo5V-lA

Ashley

lol

Lenear Boyd

Appreciated!

I couldn’t wait for your reaction to the Red Wedding and I was not disappointed!!! My jaw hit the floor and I was yelling at the screen when it originally aired. Great reaction as always!

Bray

Valar Morghulis aka "all men must die" (genderless). Especially Sean Bean, Sean Bean's best friend, Sean Bean's bodyguard, Sean Bean's wife, Sean Bean's son, Sean Bean's daughter-in-law and Sean Bean's unborn grandchild.

Michal Kubán

A wonderful reaction as always... I excitingly await to see that new notification to pop up to listen. The next season is a master piece.

Lonna Neil

the way Tywin Lannister treats Tyrion its not just cuz he different its never talk about in the show but its hinted at in the book that the mad king did some thing to Tywin wife when he was the hand right after he stop being the hand and a year later Tyrion was borne

monkeyman

To be fair to Ygritte shooting Jon Snow with multiple arrows, Jon didn't just hurt her feelings, he also revealed to her that he was a "crow" the whole time and that his allegiance was in fact to her sworn enemy, The Night's Watch. You could even say she actually somewhat betrayed her own people by purposefully only attempting to injure Jon and not kill him. Though I understand that she probably remembers when Jon refused to execute her when he was obligated to, and thus she refused to execute him.

Jeremiah Smith

Welcome to the red wedding. I was so afraid someone would spoil it. lol.

TigerMyth

In regards to Theon Greyjoy: Thinking back on his crimes and faults...His biggest crime was of course killing the 2 boys. However, he was forced into that situation after making bad decisions as a result of wanting to be a part of his family. it was not his most terrible option. Outside of that, he thinks with his penis. those are his faults as far as i know. Does that warrant the torture he's gone through? I don't think he is THAT deserving. He's dumb, but not malicious. As for him being weak when accepting his new name after a couple of hits, please consider the amount of torture and deprivation he has been put through by that point. I think most would be as weak. Just my opinion. Love the reactions :)

Mister_Bleak

If you can overlook the horror of the Lannister morales, you will understand Tywin Lannister better. He does not make decisions just for the day. He is building a legacy. At this point, he already has and wants to continue creating it for future Lannisters. He doesn't care about them individually, he cares about the name/brand. Tywin is just a true businessman.

Charlotte Drolet

I eat everything on the pig but the snout

Slimsycentaur37

Ingrid did let John go. She could have killed him but she chose to shoot him in non lethal locations. Also, i saw you post a list of shows to react to and i picked breaking bad but did you know that the actor that plays Cerci also plays the lead in Terminator: The Sara Connor Chronicles? I highly reccomend it. I am a huge fan and she is so good I didn't even realize she was playing Cersi for about 2 seasons

Jay Owin

Magic is just technology that you do not understand. From Gilly's POV reading is so far removed from what she knows that he might as well be reading the runes, bones, signs or some shit

Jay Owin

You’re no longer a sweet summer child

PVaughn

The guy playing Ramsey and the guy playing Geoffrey really did a hell of a job. If you watch their interviews they are really gentle and fine people, the exact opposite of the characters they play.

Guy from the 80's

Oh btw Dario Naharis gets recast next season. His replacement is someone who looks absolutely nothing like him. So don’t be shocked by the random guy with Dany. lol

Mary

Amazing reaction as usual!

Stephen ODaniel

In the DVD commentary it's noted that this is actually grape juice, and it's also noted how the less experienced actors would legitimately drink all that stuff on camera and then later have 'difficulties' with it's laxative effects.

Molly McAllister

After you finish GOT you should do the epic rap battles of history George RR Martin vs Tolkien.

Mary

Btw the bedding ritual. The men are undressing the bride and the women the man. If you watch closely they are throwing fabric off of her. That’s why Ned would punch someone. Not that they are sharing but that it’s just not honorable.

Mary

Bro I'm psyched for the next one 😉 how do we convince to do get it out by Friday? Lol

Slimsycentaur37

Definitely looking forward to watching this one. Especially with how much you we’re predicting way back when Rob started dating Tilisa.

Mary

In the Game of Thrones universe there is absolutely no crime larger than violating hospitality after a guest has been given bread and salt. It is worse than kin or kingslaying. There are stories in the books of all kinds of horrible things that happen to those who violate hospitality, kings get turned into rats and such. The idea was that Kat and Rob felt completely safe after the ritual because violation was so unthinkable. The Rains of Castamere played before the murders as a reminder that Tywin Lannister will always have his revenge. The real event that inspired the Red Wedding occurred in Scotland and was called the Black Dinner.

Skyler Thomas

Yea my wife is Filpino and loved chicken feet lol. I can't even look at them thangs lol.

Drewcliff82

Amazing reaction bro. I was devastated by episode 9 the first time I saw it but at the same time I also saw that Robb did it to himself. Had he stuck to his word he likely would have beat the Lannisters. I mostly feel bad for Arya and Sansa. When I saw this episode it was the first time I realized this is 100% the greatest show I've ever seen. I get Theon let his guy cut those kids throats and burn their bodies but what he has gone through is too much for me. He has paid his debt at this point. The guy torturing Theon is Ramsey Snow, Roose Bolton's son. They are both trash. Danny's story is nuts at thus point and can be compared to a Jesus savior type story. Man I can't wait for the next 2 bro.

Drewcliff82

Pig feet used to be a standard dish where I'm from, but no one eats it anymore. Pig feet, crushed lungs, blood pudding and blood pancakes etc. Ate it all as a child. Its not bad when you're used to it to be honest.

Guy from the 80's

lol bro, you got to cut Theon some slack 😁 He had been tortured for weeks, and had his Johnson cut off and hes "weak" because he agrees to be named reek? How would you have performed in a situation like that?

Guy from the 80's

😂😂😂 Several years (1998) ago my wife’s grandmother had something boiling on the stove. The wife asked if I wanted a bite. Before I could say anything she shoved something on a fork in my mouth. 😂 It went right back out and in the trash. I asked what the hell that was. She busted out laughing and said “ pig 🐖 feet”. 😂😂😂😂 I knew I saw some kinda bone in the pot but I honestly thought her grandmother was boiling chicken. 😂 Don’t get me wrong. I’m country as a Tennessee dirt road. Love me some squirrel, rabbit, crackling cornbread and grew up eating chitterlings. But pig feet are 🤢🤢🤢🤢 🤮🤮🤮🤮

LumpyGrits

Notice Cersei pours her glass pretty much just as full as Tyrion lol.

Christopher Wichman

The bedding ceremony. The bedding ceremony is when the women undress the groom and the men undress the bride. It’s supposed to be fun. Lewd jokes are made. The bride and groom are carried to the bed and more lewd jokes, suggestions, etc are made. Sometimes creepy people wait outside the door to make sure a baby is being made. Extremely creepy people may take this moment of chaos to take liberties with the bride.

Nettles

"Trying to make that make sense in my head." Lemme break it down for you, Yiggret had the same issue. North of the Wall the Wildlings... it's not that they're 'Illiterate', they have no concept of Literacy, AT ALL. The idea of accurate information being preserved and passed on beyond a handful of people in a handful of lifetimes is, to paraphrase Arthur C. Clarke, a technology so advanced that it seems to be Magic to them.

Molly McAllister

No one man should have all that power https://youtu.be/yzhHCOQntZg A once sane man once said.

Ashley

I'll look that up. Thank you for the info.

Lenear Boyd

The 'Salt and Bread' isn't there for refreshment, it's a ritual. Formal declaration and acknowledgment of capital-H 'Hospitality' having been requested and granted and from thence-forth being honored. IIRC certain middle-eastern and central-asian cultures have similar concepts of 'The Inviobility of Hospitality'.

Molly McAllister

Yo would never know without captions or without reading the books but the song that plays right b4 they kill Rob is the Rains of castamere which is the song that cersi was telling margaery about which is about the lannisters destroying house rain that's why when the music starts playing Catlin immediately knows something isn't right b4 they lock the doors and sees the armor under Boltons sleeve. And walder Frey only picks the side he believes is going to win and most of the time he doesn't help either side. They call him the late walder Frey bcause when Robert rebelled against the mad king he was supposed to help out at the battle of the trident but conveniently showed up right after the battle was over and pledged to the winner like always.

Convulsion Gaming

And the ending scene of episode 10 with Dany was pretty controversial at the time in regard to what you were referencing that Avatar did.

Slimsycentaur37

I rather like Yara. I hope you see some honor and good in her, especially when compared to the other Greyjoys.

Slimsycentaur37

Oh lord brother. As soon as I finish this movie I'm on this no matter the time lol. Given your unique disposition I think I'm looking forward to your reaction to this more than any channel I've seen and you are the 18th person I've watched this whole series with.

Drewcliff82

Awwww shiiiit
