I stopped to contemplate continuing the TV show 'The Last of Us'. I don't know if I'll put it on Youtube but, would you like to keep watching that show with me here, at least?

I watch quite a few reaction pages but really like yours best. One thing I've noticed is a lot of people react to the exact same things, and quite a few good movies and shows are never reacted to. While Last of Us is great, I'd love to see someone as good as you do some different, perhaps more challenging reactions like the Neill Blomkamp movies (Chappie, District 9), Revolver, Southland Tales, and shows like Wheel of Time. Please, no one does these but they would make fantastic reaction content

2023-02-13 06:48:52 +0000 UTCYoutube does not help reactors in any way. The movie reactions are interesting, it becomes obvious which movies work and which ones don't. Reacting to a movie consumes quite some time plus paying an editor to get it ready for Youtube. If the movie doesn't work on Youtube I take a loss not only financially but also time and hosting that could be used on something else. The majority of the people on Youtube don't go for what is good but for what is popular. Some of my favorite movies that I reacted to so far have less than 5k views and every movie needs to reach at least 35k views to break even. Right now, everything that I post is in the negative. We need more people coming into the channel so I can have the freedom to do actually good movies and not mainstream ones. For example, I loved the movie Ravenous and it has 600 views in 3 months, meaning I received $4 for it. That's not sustainable unless more people come to Youtube or we get a wave of Patreons that stay.
