Kaoru & Hana 1-8 (tentative title?)

So, remember when I said I was back to writing more...? Well, this one is still kinda rough and may be subject to changes as I write more, but I think I've got something going now.

This idea comes from sort of a weird place--I read a whole lot of yuri, and also have gone through my fair share of crossdressing/gender-bender/trans-adjacent manga too (...no comment on the average quality of that latter category). But for whatever reason, I got the urge to write a story that uses some of those general vibes and aesthetics, perhaps taking the chance to play with some stuff that I don't see explored that often in manga. (Though tbh queer representation is getting much better in Japanese media in recent years, just as it's slowly improving in Western media too)

I'm still figuring out what I want to title this and how to actually describe it, but the plot centers on Hana, a pretty high-school girl who dates around a lot, and Kaoru, a quiet boy who keeps to himself. Let me know what you think!

(and finally, a disclaimer: I'm trying really hard to be the kind of person who finishes her stories and doesn't just keep starting new ones. I'm doing my best!! I just figure that taking the time to follow an unexpected inspiration for a bit is better than remaining stuck in one place entirely on a different story)
