Quick December Update

Once again, I thank you for your patience during a period where I've been slow in writing. I've actually been fairly productive in the past several weeks, but it was all on a chapter of my dissertation (thankfully keeping me from falling even more woefully behind). As always, though, I deeply appreciate the support you offer, and I never have any hard feelings if for you need to reduce or stop pledging.
I'm continuing on, turning back to fiction writing, though I'll be taking a trip mid-December and won't have anything ready for you until around Christmas. But there will be a new story then, and I'm quite excited about it. Like last year, the private writing server that I'm on is doing a secret santa event, and I'm currently about 5,000 words into my submission (which is maybe halfway done). Once that's done and given as a gift to the person I'm writing it for, I'll also post it here for you all to read. And I'm pretty sure that a bigger collection of those stories will be available on itch.io and/or scribblehub at some point too, and trust me: there's some tremendously talented authors who are all writing things that I'm soooo excited about.
Other than that, my plans are to keep slowly working on Teenage Dirtbag. I hope to get a few more chapters squared away on that before I dip back into dissertation a bit more in January. I really want to finish it, and there's some stuff I'm really excited about for the end, but it's been fairly tricky to write.
