As a way to get my head in the right place I was gonna take a break and write a chapter of something different, and when I started to do that, I realized that I had an entire chapter of this story already written, but had never posted it? Whoops??
So here's another chapter of this extremely silly story, which... is probably a bit Too Much, but which is like blowing off steam to write, at least when I'm in the right headspace. Maybe more of it soon too. There's at least a couple more scenes I've thought through for it that I'd really love to write.

A welcome surprise, an update to this story! "Ghost rat" had me cackling and I definitely misread "birch" as "bitch" before the parenthetical so you really got me there.
