WIP: Brena and Baron

(I’m getting better at it, but I still feel a bit funny whenever I post unfinished work, because they’re incomplete by nature...it’s sort of the cousin of having someone looking over your shoulder while drawing. “Don’t look! I’m working!” 😝)

Anyway...

Brena started off in an appropriately-sized complementary role to Allie’s outsized proportions, but once you draw a character a few times, they often start to blossom beyond their basic structural functions. As fun as it is to pair up Brenny with hyper-sized gals like Allie or Sandy, it’s a pretty linear hammer-and-nail setup (if you’ll pardon an accidental pun)...

The idea that Brena might have a preference for a cozy, comparatively “conventional” heterosexual relationship with Baron isn’t all that radical, but it’s a fun little curveball in light of her most prominent physical features...It feels like she’s stepped into being a little more fully-realized as a character instead of just adhering to a static role.

Of course, it suggests an interesting relationship dynamic, too, but this particular art set is, er...pretty straightforward 😅
