Hiya!
It isn’t my long-term intent to just repost things I’ve already posted on twitter here, but in the interests of getting things going and getting some flavor installed around here, I wanted to include this “silent sequence” as an example of the type of image set that occasionally comes together (...so to speak...)
While I always enjoy your basic pinup style of art, I’m a compulsive storyteller at heart, so every now and then I start with a single image and end up creating a sequence—or at least a set of related images and/or a theme—and this one’s a prime example of that.
I suppose I could have added dialogue and sound effects, but you don’t always need these things, and sometimes they’re just a distraction. I think this stands up pretty well as it is. The only context I’ll put to it is that the young woman is Allie, and the young fella is her friend Jeff.
...and, if I’ve done my illustration work properly, that’s really all you need :)
