Possible November Pause - Emergency Power Cuts
Added 2024-10-13 14:35:04 +0000 UTCMy city has once again been subject to electric power cuts since about a month ago because of drought conditions, and this coming week the cuts are starting to get longer lasting from 8AM-11AM and 5PM till Midnight from Monday-Friday.
I've been getting getting around shorter length power cuts for the past 4 weeks by working on my iPad which will give me around 3 hours of use on airplane and low battery mode, but with the duration of the cuts getting longer I think this might really impact my work output.
I would have liked to cancelled the October pack rather than cancelling the November one, but unfortunately patreon has already paid out my balance this month leaving me unable to refund everyone who has already been billed this month.
The next best solution will be to pause for November so that no one will be charged next month and the October pack will be delayed in release until December 1st. With all November artwork being included in the October Pack.
This possible pause will be dependent on if conditions with the power plants improve in my city in the coming days, and on how much artwork I can get done by the end of October. As such it is not set in stone yet that I will pause next month.
I will let you guys know how things are looking on the last week of October! But I thought I might give a heads up again, on why art updates might STILL be a little scarce this month.
On the flip side, I went to get tested to see if my cold symptoms might be covid or influenza, and they both came back negative and I'm already feeling a little better now.
