News: Patreon iOS app fee

I'm sure everyone has already heard, starting November 2024 there will be a 30% fee to subscriptions on Patreon if you subscribe though the iOS Patreon app.

As such, I would like to urge anyone on iOS to not use the Patreon App to subscribe to any creator and use a web browser instead to avoid any fees and hiked up prices going forward.

Current patrons will not be affected by any of this. This ONLY affects future prospect subscribers SUBBING THROUGH the iOS app.
You should still be able to use and browse on the Patreon iOS app if you have it. Just make sure to not use it to subscribe to creators, or manage your billing settings.

I think this is a good time to remind everyone that I now have a SubscribeStar account as well, with a complete organized backlog of all the art I've made since I started Patreon. Rewards are mostly the same, and if I get enough subscribers there I'll be able to start opening polls as well.

As a final note, if you are also a creator on Patreon, you may have heard that everyone will be switched to Subscription Billing going forward. If this will disrupt your system, please be sure to let them know through this FEEDBACK form. (This form is ONLY for creators!)
Additionally, if I may ask a small favor of you and you are unfamiliar with Subscription Billing, I would like to let you know that Pausing for a monthly break on the Subscription Billing model is a nightmare right now. The current pausing system makes you Pause exactly on the day you click the Pause button, making you unable to choose a date on which you'd like the pause to go into effect.
This has given me a major headache the last two times I had to pause. If it's not too much trouble and you are able: please also consider mentioning that you would like a feature to be able to CHOOSE the day your pause goes into effect if you submit a feedback/feature request form.
