Weekly Update: June 20, 2022
Added 2022-06-21 03:53:02 +0000 UTCHi, and welcome back to the “weekly” update. In case you missed it, our latest k-pop themed set is now live, so check it out if you haven’t already. We’re pretty happy with the way it turned out!
We’ve also spent some time this week experimenting with some new skin textures, as shown in the images leading off this post. Currently, we use maybe five or six different skin textures, each with a few sub variants. This one is completely new. She doesn’t have a name yet, but we thought this new model turned out pretty cute!
And now, on to the update!
Big-Ass Club Set (working title)
Status: We know a lot of you wanted to see a female main character for this one, but we think the story we have in mind works better with a male main character, in this case, Ethan. Call it “artist prerogative” ;). We’ve started posing and rendering in our first environment, where Ivy finds Ethan at a local bar.
This is going to be probably our biggest undertaking yet, so be patient on this one. In fact, we’re probably going to have to do some non-verbal scripting ahead of time to keep track of the character movement. It’s gonna be a while, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
Starring: TBD, but lots and lots of your favorite characters
Setting: S&M Club
Plot: Ethan is having a drink at his local bar, when a Taziota model approaches him and hands them a mysterious business card with a date, time and location. Our main character shows up at the location to find a bunch of Taziota models at the club doing what they do best. After some trepidation, we then get to experience everything the club has to offer through Ethan’s eyes.
Tier: TBD
A Hero’s Welcome
Status: Character and environment setup is complete, so we’re just getting started with posing and rendering. We’ve been wanting to do a Roman-themed set for a while, so here it is!
Starring: Ivy, Robyn, Delilah, Sloane, Aaron, Ethan
Setting: Roman garden
Plot: Aaron and Ethan are Roman military heroes returning from battle, and Ivy, Robyn, Delilah and Sloane are all too eager to welcome them home.
Tier: Hot
