Fenrirtub is live
Added 2018-11-29 05:04:33 +0000 UTCUpdate 2.40 (Fenrirtub), better known as the Enslavement, Afternoon Two, Fenrir route, part one update, is now live. A whole mouthful, huh? Well, the name isn't the only thing that's a mouthful. An overview of the completed parts of the scene can be found below. For a more complete scene tree, use the aMap feature.
The enslavement route now continues after the auction in the hamlet, with the kobold being bought by nobody. Moe remains the property of the Furskin Mountain-Crew, and gets made to help out around the camp. In the future, this'll mean you get a choice of who you want to help, but right now, the only available option is Fenrir, who's trying to take a bath.
As I've mentioned before, this route is split into three separate encounters, depending on your goodness score, calculated since the start of enslavement. The better you act, the better you get treated. Currently, there is very little content for neutral and bad kobolds, but I hope to fix that in one of the coming updates.
What there is content for, is the good route. Some wholesome stuff, some less wholesome stuff. There aren't a whole lot of options, yet, but I'll expand on this route along with the neutral and bad ones. You can already daydream about what the locked off options'll have in store for Moe.
While the wordcount is decent, and not incredible; I think I did a good job in terms of the quality of writing this time around. There's some powerful segments, and I hope you guys'll like reading them as much as I liked writing them.
Next up, I will expand a bit more on Fenrir's route of Enslavement, Afternoon Two. Since it's already fully scaffolded, I can now develop the remainder of the scene at a higher pace. I'll spend a week to two weeks more writing content, either finishing the route completely, or at least filling out a good chunk of it. Once I'm done pushing the next update, we'll see what we do next. There's a pretty spicy scene being guestwritten for the deepwoods, so maybe we'll move on to that.
There's some new fan art, made by SantyStuff. Go check it out! More art for the game itself'll be coming shortly. Sneaky's made some great stuff, which is currently in the final stages of development. More on that once it's in the game.
Oh right, I forgot to mention this last time. I fixed a small bug in the way the game logs checking for the possession of certain items. Sadly, this may, in some very rare cases break a save file. Break is a slightly too heavy word to use here, but it's the best I can think of right now. Basically, if an object you needed for something was later on removed from your inventory (during the same scene), when that scene gets loaded with the fix in place, the game will no longer recognize that you had that item to begin with.
The only place I can think of that I did this was in the basilisk scene, where the game checks if you have the small mirror, and then it removes the mirror to simulate it breaking. Even then, it shouldn't alter the scene too much. At least I hope it won't. Please do mention any wonkiness you experience with older saves in the comments down below!
That's all for now. Thank you all for your continued interest in Kobold Adventure. Enjoy the bath time with Fenrir, and I'll see you guys when the new art is finished. More Fenrir stuff is on the way, and what happens after that, will be up to you guys to decide. This is your captain speaking, we will be arriving at Santa Koboldica airport in just a few minutes, please buckle up and strap yourself in tight, because there are no brakes on this rape plane. We hope you'll choose Kobold Airlines again, for next week's travel. Be seeing you!
