The next update

Will be about meeting a dragoness in the kobold district of Varanar. A thief has stolen something very valuable from her, and fearing retribution, ditched the goods in Moe's hands. Will you return it, keep it, or extort her in return for her precious possession?

This scene was guestwritten by Tokage, the same person who wrote most of Varanar, Morning Three and tea time with Cassidy. I still need to scaffold and partly rewrite it, plus perhaps add a few fun things of my own. Work on all this will begin tomorrow or the day after that.

I get the feeling that the reception to the massage parlor scene was somewhat mixed. At first, it seemed to be pretty well received, but today a few people have mentioned they don't quite like a few parts of it.

If you have any gripes with anything in the game, feel free to take them up with me! I can't improve unless I know what I did wrong. That doesn't mean I'll take anything out, or make the game less brutal or anything, but perhaps I'll make it more clear in the future when bad things are about to happen, if enough people ask for it.

A very odd bug that has been in the game since Enslavement, Afternoon Two was added, has been fixed. Taking the FemPlus offered by Fenrir, then getting freed by Seki, and then visiting Cassidy and letting her forcibly inject you with even more FemPlus caused Moe to become gender neutral. This was not intended behavior.

Kobold Adventure does not, and probably will not ever properly accomodate gender neutral characters. There is limited support for kobolds who are in between male and female, and there might even be some unique content for these genders in the future, but don't expect any miracles.

Anyway, the bug has been fixed. Cassidy's FemPlus concoction simply no longer affects you if your thingy is too small. If you managed to make your character gender neutral, I suggest you abandon that save. You don't have to, but it might make the game mention parts your character lacks as though they have them.

Anyway, that's all for now. I don't have a real ETA for the update yet, but at least a week, two weeks tops. After that, unless any more guest-written content comes in, I'll hold a poll on whether to do Enslavement, Afternoon Two or to pick something else. Probably the former!

Thank you for your continued interest in Kobold Adventure. Sorry to those who didn't enjoy the massage parlor, but alas, not all content can appease everyone. Luckily, it is completely optional, and there will be at least one alternative path (the dragoness), which I hope you'll like a bit more!
