After a long radio silence, I come with a new post again. First of all, I want to apologize for it. I don't even know why you are still here yet I want to thank you for that!
You all know my Instagram got removed and I fell into a little dip. I've never actually recovered from it. I had ambitions and plans that I could not work out anymore. I struggled with it and lost control which put me in a negative circle. I created troubles like a wrong sleeping schedule. I preferred to stay in bed all day than seizing the day. I had to change it so I started to work again in elder care. I feel like it's showing its fruits. I got my sleeping schedule back and feel more alive again.
So enough of negativity let's talk about my trip to Sweden.
My trip to Sweden started a little bumpy since I had an accident on the road at the night. Maybe I was driving for too long I still can't get a hold of what happened it went all very quickly. Miraculously I was not hurt at all and the car had only some damage and a flat tire. I stopped at the next gas station to get some rest and let it all sink in.
So after the trouble, I finally made it into Sweden! The first thing I noticed is that the country is full of fast-food restaurants like Mac Donalds and KFC. I expected a lot of IKEA's and maybe Swiss meatball fast-food restaurants but I was wrong.
It took not long before nature started to show its fruits. Long straight roads with big trees on each side. Here and there you saw blue lakes which were a stunning view through the car window.
The temperature was not optimal. It was around 18 Celcius / 65 Fahrenheit and at night the temperatures dropped quickly. Not the best temperatures for a naturist but it's Sweden the nature makes up for it.
I used an application that showed me camping spots where you can stand for free. This is possible because Sweden allows you to enjoy nature. They made a rule called Allemansrätten that means everyone has the right to be somewhere if you follow the rules to leave no trace only your footsteps. The spots have very few facilities and you are lucky if there is a drop toilet. For me, it's a blessing to have nothing but for others, I could be a problem.
So the first night I stopped at a beautiful place where I could make a campfire ( i adore to make a fire ). Gathered some wood in the forest and made some nice sausages above the fire. Time to sleep because tomorrow it was a long drive towards Stockholm.
I went to Stockholm to meet up with friends I knew for a long time but never meet up. So it was a blessing to see them. They showed me around and we went to a real Viking bar! I had the honor to drink some real Viking mead. I felt like a real Shieldmaiden while playing some dice games. After I got a little tipsy we bought some wood and closed the night with a fire at a beach in Stockholm.
It was time to leave Stockholm and some friends decided to join on certain points on my trip which was really awesome. We drove from free camping spots until we felt so dirty that we needed a shower. When we were lucky and the weather was great we dared to take a nude swim. The water felt freezing but once you get used to it it was fine.
Part two will follow and here are some photo's of Sweden!
