There are so many here in US begniets from new Orleans, banana pudding in the south, Nanaimo bars from Vancouver Island BC Canada, strawberry-rhubarb crisp and nobake oatmeal cookies from new York State. All so good.

I love Stella's creativity, her style, her love of life, her nature and her dreams. So I am contributing a small bit to help. And everyone should if they can.

Everyone viewing and commenting on every photo in Stella’s feed is a paying subscriber of a minimum of $10 US. Some are paying $25. A few may even be paying more. No one sees her Patreon feed for free, as far as I know.

I'll accept reasonable criticism, ( but I'm most curious for an answer) so I'll put this delicately.....WHY are so many commentators (at this level of membership) visiting, but NOT SUBSCRIBING to this very vulnerable artistic endeavor of yours Stella (Question to ANYONE?) This young woman does need some funding and it seems she's not being rewarded enough for allowing herself to be nude, vulnerable and intellectually available to so many non-paying voyeurs.πŸ™„

Kalyuka - it’s such a flute made from a plant... And to extract sounds from different musical instruments is an art! I really love listening to music, but even the guitar is a mystery to me! What needs to be done to make it sound? πŸ™‚ And more... Stella, as you want, but in Russia you have at least one more friend! 🀝 But I am sure, that there are much more of us!

Anton

I should say i prefer the chocolade hagel but vlokken are fine as well. Stroopwafels are great as well but best when you buy them warm and freshly made on a market. The most i missed when i went away from home was good cheese and a frikandel speciaal. Yummie

🀣 Have you ever seen a wild bear anton? Also one of my best friends is Russian. She showed me a strange flute one day. It was called a Kalyuka and i was not able to create a sound from it. You had to hold it downwards and fold your tongue but it was impossible. My deepest respect to the people who can create sound from it!

anakedgirl

In Russia - bears in the streets, balalaika and vodka! 😜 Joke... Russian cuisine is so diverse, interesting and very tasty that in a nutshell it is impossible to talk about it! ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_cuisine ) 😎

Anton

Yea traditional would be the correct choice!

anakedgirl

It's ok to use iconic but do understand his point. Quintessential or simply traditional would work as well :)

Tom

do you like flokken of hagel beter? They're expensive to import into the USA. When Dutch friends come to visit, I ask for stroopwafels, flokken or hagel, and pindasaus, in that order.

I love pudding so i think i will love it! I'll remember the name for when it crosses my path! Thank you

anakedgirl

Replied your message my apologies😁

anakedgirl

Which word would fit better? Always trying to improve. Hot dogs yea for sure they are American! But implemented over the world right now because they taste soo good!

anakedgirl

Definitely keeping my eye open next time. Will post a picture if i found it! Any wine or beer that goes well with it?

anakedgirl

Yeah the hamburger πŸ” was so good that it went viral all over the world! Also i tried an americano coffee but i thought i had it with some special alcohol in it. Was good as well😁

anakedgirl

Delicious!

Max Powers

Our iconic food in the USA is probably the fast food hamburger. Or maybe dilute coffee, the so-called "Americano."

Gjetost? I love gjetost when I first tasted it in Norway.

Two distinctively Finnish treats are mΓ€mmi, a pudding like Easter dessert made from rye, usually served with some vanilla sauce, and salmiakki, salted black licorice. Salmiakki is also found under a similar name in Sweden and Germany, so I guess it's not distinctively Finnish. MΓ€mmi looks disgusting in a bowl, but if you close your eyes and taste it, it's delicious in my opinion.

I also notice that you don't use the Message system on Patreon. That's OK. I am looking forward to your adventures in France this year. It's great to see your adventure spirit. But, please, no injuries!

I'm a "words" guy. I have to say, Stella, that your skill with English is remarkable!

Bill42GA

I think of iconic as referring to a religious statue or painting. BUT, I get your point. So I would say the hotdog is the best known food ftom the Ubited States. We also really like foods from all over Western Europe.

Bill42GA

Michael, what’s your opinion πŸ€”

O H

typically Norwegian and you use cheese grinder

O H

Chees 😊 there's some variety in taste, depend on where it's made and if it's from goat or cow. Some sweet like caramel πŸ₯°or more strong (less cream) from goat πŸ˜‰. Think its typical for us

O H

I try it on holiday in RotterdamπŸ˜‰

Stillhart Michael

Brown cheese πŸ™„πŸ™„ how does that taste like?
