The camera motion is blending in with the growth; at first glance it feels like she isn't changing, rather the camera is still moving. I recommend getting rid of the pan and just start the shot focused on the woman who then starts growing. If you really want to keep the camera pan, then to you need to hold it for a few seconds before the TF starts.
