Silver City 1966 was one of my most popular tracks.
I love the historic aspect of the fictional circuit, but I've always wondered what it'd be like in modern times.
Today im sharing a probably 70% complete 'conversion' where I've attempted to update the circuit.
Things like run off areas have been changed, paved with asphalt, mesh fences and barriers have been added, as well as modern sponsors.
Like I say, it's not 100% yet, so there's still some of the old items lying around, they'll be removed soon though! Also most of the corners have entry, apex and exit kerbs now, which actually makes a large difference to the way you tackle some of the corners. It's certainly an interesting change for those of you familiar with the '66 version.
The actual track layout itself remains the same. The only adjustment to the main asphalt ribbon is I've increased the banking of turn 4, maybe over the last 60 years the tracks been built over a sinkhole and the apex of T4 has started to sink leading to the banking increase... who knows?

A bit different, making a fake historic track into a fake modern day one, so please let me know if you think this is a good idea?
Uses the same AI lines and Replay Cameras as the '66 version. Installs as an entirely new track, not a layout change.
Thanks,
