The Grand Tour - Advent Day 8

This is THE FIRST MOD I ever published to Race Department, waaaay back in 2016.
I had no idea what I was doing at the time, so quite frankly, it was awful.
It still is….
I took a good look at this, and wondered just how much improvement I could make using only the new features from CSP that weren’t around back in the day. So that’s what this is, a kind of re-master, new textures, 3D trees, grass etc.
Underneath the 3D trees, and new textures, it’s still the kinda crappy mod from 2016. So please don’t go into this thinking it’s going to be perfect.
On the otherhand, it looks slightly better now, who says you can’t polish a turd?
PLEASE BE WARNED, THIS MOD IS VERY ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES, IT IS THE FIRST MOD I EVER MADE. THIS IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OF THE QUALITY OF MY WORK THESE DAYS.

Thank you! Coming from GTP over here, to download the updated one. Would love to see more updates for the future! Trackside vehicles and other stuff maybe. How do I get rid of the wrong way warning on track?

2023-12-09 16:52:39 +0000 UTCI think you're selling this one short! It's a nifty little track. Been having a bit of harmless fun racing Berta Tornados here. I get a "wrong way" warning in a couple places on the Isn't Straight for some reason, had a car coming at me from the wrong direction a couple times, and the chicane at Old Lady's House is rather tight...but hey, this thing is very far from "awful" and it certainly has potential! I for one hope you don't completely abandon it. Also, in response to your request for feedback: I'm really enjoying the Advent thing -- love the surprise every day, and I give you a lot of credit for meeting the challenge. And I personally love the idea of mods to existing tracks, like the Monza Junior Modern layout. Things like new layouts, new track skins, updated textures, alternate road meshes, etc. are always welcome.
