Crest Da Cauras 2.0 - Advent Day 6

Today I have an update of Crest Da Cauras – my fictional circuit set in the swiss alps.
Development of this track wasn’t really going the way I wanted it to, so I have spent some time stripping back a lot of the assets and ‘starting again’.

Pitlane AI is thanks to TiTi who kindly spent some time to record the line.
Lots of changes, too many to list as it’s quite a re-work. Track layout is 100% the same though.

Thanks again. Yeah, I just tried a AC car (Porsche 911) with the opponents (10 of them) using "same car" with 0% aggression and 90% strength and the AI's were wrecking almost from the start. The 6 that made it all wiped out in the first tunnel. Weird! It was fun to watch them, though. :)

2024-07-09 21:01:59 +0000 UTCNo problem, GT cars should work fine here. So I'll look into why they're being an issue. F1 etc, the track is probably too extreme for.

2024-07-09 20:49:34 +0000 UTCThanks! I'm still fairly new to sim racing and didn't realize that different cars act differently with the AI. I was using cars from RSS for my opponents since I was driving the RSS Vortex car.

I really love Crest Da Cauras, but the AI cars cannot even make 1 lap before the wreck out.....and I've tried different settings for the opponents with the same results. Any ideas what I can do to be able to have a great race on your beautiful track? Thanks! :)

2023-12-07 02:40:51 +0000 UTCOK thanks for heads up on that. I keep trying all the other racing sims but for me nothing compares to AC thanks to all you guys who mod it. I am really a driver not a racer so the variety of excellent tracks keeps me coming back. :)

Some of it, i'll admit, does look a bit bare now. But I'm happy that more of it is my own work. And it's now the perfect canvas to add detail to in the future. Thanks, Ty

Glad you have updated it although I would need to restore the old version to remember and see what the changes are. (maybe I will do just that later) Thanks again for all your great work.
