Thermalito 2023 Development Progress.

For those who are unaware, I'm working working with Daniel Finney of the DDF Racer Youtube Channel on bringing a track he has designed to life. The circuit is based on real roads, with some slightly imagineitive inerpretation. The layout for the track crosses through the Thermalito hydroelectric dam, not once but twice on two different layouts.

This project has been a blast to work on so far. It's quite different from what I usually do. As you'll have seen I basically make real tracks as close to reality as I can get them. Or I'll make up a 'fantasy' circuit myself. So working on a project that doesn't exist in real life, but is a design by somebody else has been an interesting challenge.

We'll be doing a Q/A video about this track and my development progress in general. I'll post it here when it's been uploaded.

I'm aiming for a release of this circuit later this month! so not long to wait :)

We've had several 6+ hour long meetings discussing the finer details of this track, and I look forward to everyone getting to drive it really soon!

Track surface is basically finished and signed off, the next week or so I'll be creating the 3D assets for things like the dam, pit building and grandstands.
