Hi everyone,
I was hoping to get an update ready for Sebring for this weekend but have ran behind a little, so there's no download link today - but read on to find out what I've been up to!
Basically, we're at the 'polishing' stage. Adding the little details that really bring the track to life.
Some but not all of the changes are listed below. As you can see its a chunky list!
One of the biggest changes is the bumps on the slabbed runway sections. You can see from this video, they now sync up with the texture all the way around the track.

- Removed static 2D crowds
- Removed some of the excess 3D crowds
- Removed a lot of polys from the runways which do not form part of the racing surface
- added roughness to the back roads
- added new flags to the Sebring bridge
- added some new flags to the falstaff bridge
- widened the radius of 'big bend' towards the end, so it should now be more consistent throughout the whole corner
- added a 'wavy' edge to the asphalt on the back roads, to make it look more like 'splodged' asphalt
- Reduced the width of the 'esses; under the MG bridge.
- removed the 'W' sign from the Webster Linder chicane, and placed it at pit entry
- shortened the height of the fences around the back straight, final corner and at the end of the pit wall.
- Reduced the size of the advertisement boards along the left fence on pit straight
- fixed some uneven spacing between advert boards and pit building
- re-made sand banks
- blended them into the terrain
- Added 2d crowd sitting and standing positions
- Replaced yellow walls with new walls
- added lots of the white 'kerbing' around the tracks
- Fixed the shadows on the bridges and fences
- synchronised the bumps with the dark lines in the texture
- Added Shelby lorries, added hertz rental trucks, added porsche vans, added ford racing vans.
- added more period accurate planes
- Added marshalls
Thanks for your patience with this one, the next update will be worth the wait!
Have a good weekend everybody.
Thanks again,
Ty
