Next up is Ozarks – This latest version has a fair few changes.
First of all, there is much better AI now so feel free to go for a race or two around this spectacular track. There is a replay camera as well, but i've borked it somehow - will fix for next release.
· Fixed the reflective surface on some of the kerbs, they should be a bit dimmer now, and not stand out as much.
· I changed the texture on the white walls to something with a bit of depth Skuby sent me over a texture to use, however in the end I tried something different, and used something with a normal map to add some surface details
· Added the missing cones at the track intersection that was pointed out by Jordan Nord
· Added more tyre marks, scuffs, cracks to the asphalt, kerbs etc. Makes the track more grounded.
· I have lowered the height of the ‘humps’ on the kerbs, they are much less violent now, thanks to Logan Helm for this suggestion
· Turn 7 kerb is now wider.
· Turn 7 in general, re-profiled this so the car is more settled as you drive though it, also smoothed the following straight ‘roller-coaster’ so you no longer catch air in a miata!
· T13 has been re-shaped to more accurately reflect the real track, thanks to Adam Cline for this one.
· There are more trackside details, such as spectators, gazebos etc, just gives it a bit more atmosphere.
· A lot of the kerbs have moved slightly, to neaten them up with the white painted lines on the track.
