First of all, Happy New Year!
I hope you have all had a wonderful Holiday time wherever you are in the world, and a big thank you all for your continued support. Welcome to all of the new people who have subscribed over the last few weeks, welcome to the club 😊
So, I’ve got a very substantial update for Sebring 60’s today. The target year of the track is now firmly 1966, but the roads also exist for the ’67 layout – so that will be added in the future, as more of a novelty than a faithful re-creation of the 67 year.

The updates, really are too numerous to list, most of the runway section has been entirely rebuilt, numerous objects have been added, the track now supports AI for you to race against.
I’ve worked with LOD which means ‘Level of Detail’ for a few of the objects, so they aren’t in the scene until they can be seen, which should make the track run smoothly.
However, we’re far off actually optimising everything, so in that regard, if the track chugs along a bit don’t worry it’ll get a lot easier for normal PCs to run as the project continues.
A massive thanks to Rodger and his pals, for contributing so much reference material. It’s been super helpful, and I’m still going though it and adding details all of the time.
I hope you all enjoy the track, it’s still quite a learning curve to make something from 56 years ago. A lot of assets I’ve had to make myself from scratch to accurately represent the time period.
