It’s been a busy few weeks for me so I apologize for the lack of content, I’ve managed to get Sebring to a place where it is playable – but there is no AI and the timing gates are in the wrong location. You can still set lap times in practice, it’s just the time is taken from the straight before the last corner.
The idea behind this release it to gauge peoples opinions on the direction the track is going with regards to aesthetics etc, is the ‘vibe’ right for the era I’m trying to reproduce.
Another key point to mention is the ‘bumpiness’ of the track. I’ve come up with an idea to recreate the bumps in the seams of the asphalt that the Sebring circuit is famous for, so feedback on the track feel would be appreciated.
Again, sorry this is a bit earlier in the development cycle than a usual first-release, but It’s taking me ages to get right, as I really want to do this well.
