What do you think about this AI-generated art craze? I was jacking around with one of the many AI-art apps while renders were processing and so: here's a generated version of Sparkle and Roopah according to our electronic overlords!

Not bad really, huh? I had to upload several images of Sparkle and Roopah and repeatedly adjust keywords and filters to finally get these results, so it's far too time-consuming to attempt to produce useful images, but it's entertaining. There's also the potential to spark some new ideas in the old noggin.

Anyway, just thought I'd share these and a bit of good news as well: I'm finally back in the groove. I worked on HS a lot yesterday and I'm happy with the progress. I even re-wrote a lame scene into something far more interesting that also gives Sparkle an early excuse to set aside some of her inhibitions. This will have a ripple-effect through the existing content and therefore creates plenty more work but I'm excited about it because it's (hopefully) fun.

There will be an update out this month for sure but I can't say when yet. Thanks for sticking around through the rough patch, friends. I really appreciate you.

I still have a lot to finish and clean up so it's looking like not this weekend but next weekend (at the latest) is when I'll have the update out.

I respect your opinion and definitely understand your perspective. Rest assured that I have no plans to use AI-generated art; it's just something that was fun to mess with for a while.

I personally think that AI art is a big problem. Sure, there’s some fun that might be had with it, but it literally only functions by ripping off other people’s work, most often work that was stolen. This is already having an impact on jobs for artists and designers. Literally the ONLY benefit of AI art is to devalue the work of artists. It serves no other purpose. Artistic skills take time and effort, and of course it costs money to pay someone who already has those skills. People who want to put in no effort and pay no one can now take credit for other people’s work now that a computer can stitch it together for them. I’m only one person, but sincerely, if you start using AI generated art I will pull my support.
