Newsletter August 2024 - HD freebies

The newsletter for August is out and was sent to all respective supporters (I realized I haven't posted the info post for July last time). I added the archive link for the July package as a little extra.

I added some of the older sketches and drafts from past projects in the 2023/2024 grand archive for the long-term supporters. Might also add some of the drawing process videos as well, as soon as I find a solution for the parts that need to be censored to comply with the guidelines.

The last week was busy and stressful, and I always ended up coming home at late night almost every day, so I could only drew ocassionally at morning.

On an obscure note, I also tried to finish the one Mushoku Tensei project with the two Greyrat sisters, but ended up postponing the work after endless fruitless corrections because the hair design of both girls was driving me nuts. I redrew their hair over and over, and always ended up unhappy with the result because it didn't look similar too the original. I often have troubles with characters with weird side bangs or that cat ear like side hair streaks because it always looks kinda different from every angle... Probably just a skill issue, but anyway - I try to finish this one in September this time.

I'm so glad I was able to finish to CG sets that were in their draft stage for so long. Persona 5 hype might be over a while ago, but I still intend to finish all the other artworks which I started over the last months. On another side-note... Is it REALLY already more than 8 years since the initial release of Persona 5? Jeez, where did all the time go and why it's always flying so quickly. That's how Frieren must feel all the time.

I'm happy that I could wrap up the Rebecca illustration, but man, I think I try to avoid drawing her, err, armor next time. It was way too time-consuming. But I do like the female warrior / coliseum fighter theme...

September is going to be a busy month, too. But since I still felt productive this month, I'm staying optimistic that I will still find the time to wrap some other long-term artwork projects up and make some more progress regarding my running doujinshi projects.
