It seems that my drawing program has oddly saved my image without calibrated colors. And that seems to cause the upload error since my image has no color profile. I still don't really get why and how it happened, but at least I was able to pin the error down. Original text: An almost finished drawing featuring Yae, the cute Kunoichi from the Goemon game series. I always wanted to draw more artworks of her. And recently while listening to some old Nintendo music, I stumbled over the beautiful soundtrack of the Goemon series again. If you are a fan of Japanese music that consists of a mixture of playful anime-like melodies and traditional instruments, give the whole OST collection of the Goemon series a try. You won't regret it. Anyway, due to listening to the music I remembered that the series has quite a few obscurities and among them the game over screens with the hula-hoop dancing muscular devils were one of the strangest ones. This scene was ultimately inspired by them.
