I'm always for more Lain. The series is kind of old, but I don't have nostalgia for it. That's because the first time I watched it wasn't very many years ago. Newer to me than a show like Overlord. Saw the ED and I was like, "Wait, am I into her?" I then proceeded to watch the rest of the series feeling like the deep messages people talk about the series having went over my head as I was there to check out the girls (only other girl for me was her sister). It was Eva all over again, but like fresher.
