General Update.

Hi everyone,

Sorry you haven’t heard much from me these past couple months.

I had the opportunity to move in with my partner and one of my best friends back in June. Due to a number of factors, (including having to pay 6 months rent upfront 💀)  it was an incredibly stressful time with a few full blown autistic meltdowns, and it's only basically now that things are officially confirmed and we are moved in and settling in and I’m completely exhausted. I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to let myself stabilise.

I have pretty severe ADHD and autism. I don’t like to talk about it too much here, mostly because I like a separation between this stuff I do and my own personal life, and for the most part I’ve learned a lot of coping strategies for working on art. This is kind of the dream job for me and I’m normally capable of hyperfocusing on it for hours at a time. However for the past few months it has been a real struggle balancing artwork, managing this account, my day job and moving house. Often, when it comes to posting anything I can get really anxious and the longer I wait the worse it gets.

With that said, now that I’ve actually moved in I’m actually doing a lot better! The place we’ve moved is right next to the underground and bus station and I’m getting to do a lot of socialising and meeting friends I haven’t seen in a while. Being able to finally have my own space with my partner is so exciting and liberating and everything I've hoped for.

Now that I feel more capable of thinking and planning ahead, I want to give all of you an idea of what my plans are for October and going forward:

• I still have a few commissions lined up that I will be working through this month, and I still have some completed ones I need to post.
• The monthly Patreon animation is very close to being finished. I wasn’t able to finish before having to go to my parents for a few days but I am now back as of today and will be finishing it off.
• Mushrooms and Magic will be resuming this month. Everyone who has signed up to the cameo tier will be getting a cameo in the next pages. If you have signed up to the cameo tier but have yet to send me a ref, please DM to do so. If you had previously signed up but have since moved to a lower tier you will also get a slot, so let me know.
• I’m hoping to produce another Halloween YCH, and will be getting patrons to vote on the subject.
• I will be posting several more Patreon exclusive pieces as well as non-commissioned sketches you’ll get to see early.
