I feel like the name “sinners” puts the whole story into perspective. It’s a story about temptation mostly, vampires was just one of the tools the director used to tell the story

2025-04-30 16:37:50 +0000 UTCFinally got to watch this and I do agree with the critiques of the run time and more vampire stuff but I absolutely loved all the music stuff and that music scene was one of my favorite scenes in a movie in a while. Movies are a visual medium and that scene was a perfect example of how you can tell a story without words. It was also crucial to the vampires lore, the vampires were the ones seeing beyond death and time, that’s why they wanted Sammy, to be connected to the people they lost. Also loved the lore of the other supernatural like the mention of the hates. To me it was a supernatural movie more than a vampire movie and I loved that, although more vampire stuff would’ve really put it over the top

We Watched A Movie
2025-04-26 17:27:18 +0000 UTCI loved this movie, but hated the 2 trailer park trash pandas that were seated next to me! It was bad enough that they freaking talked & kept turning on their phones the entire time, but when she dropped her purse on me & I finally gave her a death stare, she called me a "Fucking Rude Bitch!" That was the point when I finally lost my shit. By the end of it, one of them kicked my friend & they started shouting matches with several other people. The manager did finally get them out & called the police. Everyone missed the the last 20+ minutes of the movie & I'm still pissed about it! It was complete chaos!
